It’s now called Valley Diner, not Elaine’s. Unfortunately the food didn’t impress – eggs and bacon were overcooked while the hash browns were somehow undercooked. They only accept cash (or a check if you’re a local), so plan accordingly. Honestly, the breakfast at the Kwik Trip up the road is better.

Although it doesn’t much concern me – I ate it anyways – waitress did bring my food to the wrong table whereupon said food was handled by other patron, then walking by and realizing her mistake, grabbed the plates from the wrong table and put them on ours as ordered. …..anyway, no other complaints. Delicious breakfast, good serving, and inexpensive! Usually about $6 per plate including coffee (not incl. juice/milk). They only take cash or local checks though!!
The service is hit or miss but they’re definitely knowledgeable about the area so if you’re lost or want to know where to go for this, that, or the other, just ask them. I always bring my friends and family to this place if it’s their first time in town, or just if they happen to be in town. 🙂

Best place ever to eat. Well worth the money and thr lady’s are so kind. We come from out of town and this town is the nicest place to vist and such a beautiful amazing town. I. So glad we came and definitely will make the trip again just to eat at the Cafe and see the older lady. She was amazing and so was all the other ladies.
