Omg THIS was the BEST ice cream I’ve ever ated. The customer service? Top noch! I got the New York cherry, and let me say, it tasted like the big apple. The smog and rat droppings were phenomenal. The rocky road wasn’t the rockiest road I’ve ever been on. It was freshly paved with a few bumps such as the small chocolate chips and small marshmallows. The chocolate wasn’t the best either.. but I ate it. Overall, I give it 5 big booms BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!

It has taken me years to come here. DANG have I been missing out. This place is fantastic! So many options. I got a large Sunday with a couple toppings. There was enough ice cream to feed an army and the toppings went all the way through the sunday. Definitely a business we need to support. The picture does not do it justice. Believe me it’s huge.

Most places that claim to be the best are typically not. This place loves up to the hype!!! Wow… just wow!!! So many flavor options, so many ways to get it. You can even custom your flavors.
Hands down the best ice cream we have ever had, and we have had ice cream all across the nation. Fresh ingredients! You can taste the love in it!!! I’m sad that I’ve been working in the Joliet area for going on 2 years and am just finding this place. 1.75 years wasted!!!

After a long day at the bottom of a lake, we had the hankerin’ for some ice cream. Walt’s delivered.
We found out that they had a no sugar added flavor available (butter pecan), so we grabbed a banana split and a strawberry shortcake. We were not prepared for how much ice cream you get. We stuffed our faces anyway.

This place is legit! Super amazing ice cream and extremely reasonable prices, dare I say cheap even. I tend to get the chocolate peanut butter shake, by far the best I’ve ever had! I cannot say enough good things about Walts! Oh and good music is always playing too.

Me and my wife went to Walt’s for some sherbet. When we got home to enjoy the sherbet we ordered it was watermelon sherbet on top and strawberry ice cream beneath. We called back to Walt’s explained to the man that answered the phone that we didn’t order strawberry ice cream and it was supposed to be orange and watermelon sherbet he said bring it back and he would fix it grant it we didn’t even eat it my wife noticed it when she dug into it to taste the orange. When we arrived the young lady at the window was very rude stating we received what we ordered and replied I said nothing about ice cream my wife is lactose intolerant and we said nothing about strawberries period. They replaced the order but just threw the bag out the window needless to say it was racism at it’s finest funny how polite they were over the phone because I know how proper I sound but when I walked up to the window and it was a 6’5 African American male funny how rude and unprofessional they became. Needless to say me and no other family member or friend will ever eat there again.
