Very cute cafe and lovely owners and workers. However, I’ve tried them twice now and they are just ok. Their vanilla based cupcakes are better than the chocolate based ones. The mocha one I had previous was very soggy. The red velvet was dry, sadly. The strawberry one was missing the actual strawberry for some reason? For $5-6 per cupcake, they are beautifully decorated. Taste-wise, they are ok.

I purchased cupcakes from Tasty Cakes on February 7 around 8:35 p.m. After leaving the store, I tried one while driving home and immediately realized it tasted spoiled. I returned to the store and told the staff, but they insisted it smelled fine and simply replaced it.
When I got home, my daughter and mother ate cupcakes from the box. Later when I tried another cupcake myself, it also tasted spoiled, so I threw the rest away.
That night my 11-year-old daughter developed food poisoning with severe stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea that lasted into the next day.
Customers should be cautious. Based on my experience, the cupcakes I purchased were not fresh and may not have been stored properly.

What a charming spot for anyone who loves fancy cupcakes and sweets! The staff were friendly and genuinely passionate about their business, making the visit even more enjoyable. Delicious treats and a welcoming atmosphere highly recommended!

I’ve been here twice and both times have been pretty disappointing. The first time I tried the cupcakes and I was just not impressed by them. I have the impression that they buy them from a wholesaler, so they have this very industrial flavor (don’t know how to describe this, it is just something my palette picks up). The second time I tried the ice cream and it tasted like an old fridge, like it had been there forever. I ordered a caramel cone and got a regular one instead.
The service was okay the first time, the second not so much, there was a young lady that didn’t seem very happy about working on a Sunday afternoon.
The ambiance is not very welcoming. The place is huge, all white, feels kinda empty, not very inviting. Also no music was being played the two times I was there. I don’t think I would go back.

The prices are reasonable considering they are a small batch bakery and make everything daily.
We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and were the only customers My daughter got a few ice cream samples and settled on red velvet cheesecake with sprinkles. We also got a red velvet cupcake for later.
In past visits we got vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with a variety of different frostings. All of them were great and there was definitely more than enough icing for a good ratio. Not that the cake needed it. They were all moist and had a good crumb that didn’t fall apart as we ate them.
They have a bright, open seating area to enjoy your treats and they have a party room for groups. But we chose to eat our ice cream in the car this time because the smell of the air freshener being used was so strong that it was stinging our noses. We’re hoping this isn’t normal and was only because they’re weren’t a lot of people and movement in the store to disperse the smell. Not a huge deal, but we decided to get only 1 cupcake for my daughter, instead of the 4 pack we talked about. Something about walking into a bakery and smelling the bathroom air freshener didn’t match up.
We’ll give it a try again soon.

We picked up 4 cupcakes and a cookie today. I was surprised at how huge the storefront was, and how expensive the cupcakes were! It was $15 for 4 cupcakes. We still grabbed some because we wanted a treat, but for the size and quality of the cupcakes the price was hefty.
We tried strawberry crunch, Red Velvet, Lemon Blueberry, and Caramel Chocolate. They were all pretty good. The Chocolate one totally dissolved when we tried to eat it, it was maybe too moist? The strawberry crunch was the best I think. The snickerdoodle was just okay. Service was fine! I don’t think we’ll be back though, the prices were just too high.

Went while my boyfriend and I were waiting for a table at the ramen place next door and I was very pleasantly surprised.
I don’t know why other people are talking about the prices being too high. My first impression when I walked in was that the prices were actually really good. It’s definitely cheaper than Ben & Jerry’s or Georgetown cupcake and it actually tastes good.
The customer service was great. Everyone was very sweet. My boyfriend and I tried some samples, and then had to leave since our table was ready but the associate was very kind and said we should go and just come back if we’d like to.
I got the wedding cake cupcake and it was incredibly moist, the right amount of sweet, and a light fluffy texture. The buttercream tasted fresh and very complimentary to the cake.
I got the sugar cookie as well and even at 9pm it still tasted fresh with a perfect soft texture.
I tried their cookie dough ice cream as well and thought it was great.
It also looks like they have a space in the back for birthday parties which is cute.
