Great old school diner we found spontaneously today after exploring the Hindu Temple nearby (BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham). Great atmosphere, coffee and food! The servers were fun with lots of personality. This diner reminded me of the Bendix Diner near where we live … but that place has closed, sadly. Glad we found Daphne’s and we didn’t go to some chain restaurant!

Daphne’s Diner is like walking back in time. When I entered this cozy inviting Place I was flooded with memories of my childhood. Over the years I’ve been to so many diners and if I can choose to go any place, this is always the type of place I want to go and enjoy a meal. everyone treats you like family and greets you with a smile. The food comes out hot and delicious with huge portions. The coffee is rich and flavorful and piping hot. You are not rushed, which is really nice. The place is spotless clean. I highly recommend this diner for any kind of occasion and any kind of meal. God Bless America! God Bless Blue & Gold! Remember Everyone Deployed Everyday!

Small operation with an amazing team. The food was really good. It looks like and old school diner. One thing I will mention is that they do not take any gratuity through debit or credit, it is cash only but they have an ATM on the premises.

I was passing through NJ last Friday on a trip to visit my Son in Maryland. I drove past Daphne’s Diner and knew I wanted to stop in for lunch. What a charming little diner. They have a great menu and wonderful hospitality! I got the French dip which was delicious, but way more food than I could eat, so great value! All the servers including Daphne herself were wonderful and extremely friendly. I am truly thankful that i got lost that afternoon and discovered this hidden Gem!

Went here with a large group and the service worked really hard to clear space with us, even on a busy Sunday morning. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, while the food came out quickly. The food is classic diner fare, done quite well. Would recommend stopping in some time.

Great place for a breakfast stop. Came over couple saturdays in a row. Got there early. Friendly atmosphere. Food was great, they have a little flair to their dishes, not your typical diner. We really enjoyed it. Priscilla, the lady at the counter was awesome!

Loved it! Friendly and fun service, surprisingly good food, reasonable prices, and a throwback 50’s interior. We had the chicken ceasar salad and a sandwich. Both came with a choice of soup and a small dessert. Was visiting the area for business. Otherwise, I’d be there more often! They also had counter service and a cute outside area with seating.

This place is amazing! It used to be on the main drag many years ago, but somehow it lasted over the years. It has great food and super friendly staff. We went in there and I told them that we have never been here before. The server walked us through all the items on the menu and was very friendly.
On the menu they have interesting items that you would not expect at a diner. I had a cajon dish that had crab and eggs. It was great. There are a lot more options too.
Inside the restaurant it is still decorated in the old 1950s style. It has cast aluminum fixtures including doors and trim along the bar. It has classic styling that has years of use, but the restaurant is still clean and in good condition. In one of my photos notice the old table top and the old plastic leather chairs from the 1950s. It is really neat to see this all still in use today.

I see this place got very good reviews so maybe we hit it on a bad day. It was very disappointing to say the least. Place was cold and very loud. Because place was cold, coffee cups cold which made coffee cold. Hash browns had off taste which I could not put my finger on, maybe fried in olive oil??One piece of toast with breakfast. Toast also not hot. Sausage was good, eggs OK, french toast good. Bacon way overcooked. No coffee refills offered, had to ask for one. Expensive coffee and OJ which added a lot to cost of meal.

I had breakfast there this morning. A cup of coffee almost before I sat down. There is an extensive and a bit too complicated menu, so I just told the server what I wanted. Corned beef hash cooked crispy, two sunny side up eggs on top, tater tots, wheat toast and coffee. All smiles, extra napkins, and the food on the table in 7 minutes. Everything was perfect, sparkling plate, gleaming utensils, an extensive array of condiments on the table, and filling portions. A great breakfast in a comfortable and friendly setting. Go to Daphne’s!
