First time here, after driving past it 1,000 times and noticing it’s always busy. Stepped in for breakfast about 10 a.m.. I’m an old West Texas guy, and I tend to evaluate a restaurant on their “basics,” like a good cup of coffee, eggs, or biscuits, etc. I ordered biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and a cup of black coffee.
Positives and negatives:
Place was clean and bright. All tables and chairs, no booths. Seat yourself. Tables were cleaned immediately when people finished.
Price was good, lower than nearby places like Acapulco and the Branding Iron at YO (although they’re both excellent).
Service was great, nice servers, prompt food, good and hot.
Hash browns were perfectly cooked. Just a little greasy, and slightly crispy on top. I ate every crumb.
Coffee was weak, I could barely taste it. Like sipping a cup of hot water.
Gravy was the BEST gravy I’ve ever had (and I’ve had some over the past 65 years). Thick, smooth and creamy. It’d be nice to have sausage in it, but it was still delicious. They were a little stingy with it; a couple of biscuits were barely halfway covered. When you put gravy over biscuits, they’re supposed to be completely covered.
Biscuits tasted good, but biscuits are supposed to be light and flaky; these were dry and tough, apparently leftover from yesterday or maybe even the day before. I had to lean forward with my weight on my fork to cut all the way through them.
Overall, though, a positive place to eat. The omelets and pancakes at the next table looked terrific. I’ll be back to try them!

Overall this was a mixed experience. Omlette was filled nicely, but too much oil on the grill for ensuring there was not a chance for sticking. The cheese on the Omlette (not inside) was a torn up slice of American cheese. Salsa and Pico were great, and made fresh in house. The hash browns were appropriately crispy as I ordered and the Biscuit! Oh my, my, my. Next time (there will be a next time) will be biscuits and gravy. I already made sure that I could get extra, on the plate of biscuits and gravy. My table was freshly and completely cleaned. No crumbs, no oil, it was great. A relaxed country diner vibe. Friendly staff, quick service, fair price. More than worth checking out a second time.

Decent breakfast, extremely fair prices, good variety, excellent service. Local favorite. Not fancy. Small. We did not have to wait but it was late morning. Only open until 2 pm. Will try lunch menu next time we visit. During peak time, I would guess parking could be difficult.

Food is good. Staff and prices are awesome though. You’re not going to get anything crazy or unique here, but the wonderful staff and cheap meals are 100% worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

A small comfort restaurant, kind of hidden but visible from road if looking for it. A great variety of choices on the menu and food was excellent. Service was fantastic, antentive and well knowledgeable. An excellent place for a small business meeting, family get together or dining alone.

Ended up paying $25.93 for a relatively small meal (6oz steak + 6 eggs + hashbrowns). Got charged $2.25 per extra egg. Decent food but definitely not “excellent” prices, as another review stated.

Decent hearty breakfast, but nothing exceptional. I had the veggie omelette, and the veggies were tasty but not abundant. And the cheese was melted in two squares on top. Our server was excellent, though
