I’m big on supporting local. I’m a Lyft driver, and needed a quick snack and bathroom break. Perfect spot to stop. It was quiet, but I went on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Service was fast, really friendly. I ordered the cheesy tots. They were so good. Huge order, way more than a single serving. I’m have to go back on another day with friends and order a lot more. ❤️

This place is sooo good and the service is awesome. This was my first time here and Aryanna was an amazing server. The food came out so fast and she was so helpful with all of our repeat orders and we will definitely be coming back again and again. This place is a must try you won’t regret it!!

Great hamburgers and fries. One of my kids had the chicken nugs and said they were great.
They smash the burgers so there’s a nice char, the toppings were fresh. Fries are crispy and seasoned well.
They were out of a few things when we ordered, but offered substitutes.
The drink options are limited, but good enough for enjoying a burger near the beach.
There are indoor and outdoor dining options.

I’d say for the flavor profile their food has it. Presentation wise everything was extremely greasy. I forgot to get pictures of the burgers but just overall it was a bit overwhelming on the amount of oils in everything. If you’re looking to try a different take on a burger and fries this is the spot to try.

I just have to say BONEHEAD has the BEST SHAKES in town! I can’t stop ordering the peanut butter and chocolate (seriously addictive), and I’m sure the others are just as good. On top of that, they’ve Seriously do have the best burgers also in San Diego/Imperial Beach !!!The milkshakes are new, super delicious, and definitely worth coming in for. Highly recommend! ✨

This was a pleasant surprise on our weekend trek to IB. Had the standard Bonehead burger which was so flavorful. You could tell they use fresh, high quality ingredients. The tots are next level. My boyfriend says he can’t remember tots ever tasting this good. He’s not one to throw around compliments so that speaks volumes. We live in Pacific Beach and will absolutely make the drive back to try more of the menu!

I’m a local in Imperial Beach and had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I finally went on Saturday with my brother and sister-in-law, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we walked in, the cook was standing at the front and greeted us with an expression that felt more like we were inconveniencing him than welcome guests. It also looked like the staff was preparing to close early, even though it wasn’t that late.
We ordered wings, tater tots, and a burger. While the wings and tots were tasty, the burger was neither hot nor fresh. On top of that, our appetizer—the wings—came out at the same time as the entrées, which felt poorly timed. By 7:30, the staff had already begun closing up, and their constant glances made us feel rushed, as if we were keeping them from leaving. My sister-in-law was so uncomfortable that she ended up packing her food to go.
This was not the welcoming or enjoyable dining experience I had hoped for, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Burgers were awesome, fries as well! A little pricey but worth it!! Inside and outside covered eating. Good for families.

Just found my new favorite burger in southbay!! I recently hears about this place and just had to try it out. Its at the old ice cream shop on palm. My dad used to take me to get ice cream after a day at the beach and I can start a new tradition with my son since its our first time trying it out. The burger gave me a nostalgic taste for what I would build myelf at fuddruckers with all the fresh veggies. Great place to watch the sunset while you eat a great burger. I would love to see an option to add an extra patty for a few extra dollars, but i respect the taste of the smash burger to get the Maillard reaction by having a greater surface area seared in the patty. The cashier was very nice and gave us a small sample to try the fries, which were seasoned properly and very crispy! Gonna bring the wife next time for sure!

Me and a few buddies went here not too long ago. The Waitress Celeste was as welcoming as one can be. The food was incredibly good and the atmosphere is right up my alley. 10/10 would recommend.
