I loved everything about Scoops! The young lady who waited on me was beautiful. I was walking around taking pictures, and she came over and brought me the ice cream.

Consistently delicious treats. Ice cream, candy, and cookies are all freshly scrumptious. Service is fast and friendly. The smells are awesome and although seating is limited consider eating there if not too crowded.

Fast service and so much to choose from. So many delicious candies and a great selection of ice cream. From the Buckeye all the way to classic vanilla. You have your cookies and cream, blueberry, coffee flavor, cookie monster, pineapple and my favorite, pralines and cream. I even made it into a milkshake. We had the kids so we had a wide variety. The staff was excellent and dealt with all the customers in such a fast pace. They were glad to give samples and again, great customer service. Then you come outside and have great seating right in the middle of McDonough Square. Great for a quick family outing. I love this place and would definitely come back again

I’ve been a regular customer here since 2017 and I’m usually a creature of habit — Superman ice cream every single time. I’ve always enjoyed stopping by, which is why today’s experience was especially disappointing.
I purchased a regular kids cup of Superman and then asked to sample the strawberry cheesecake flavor. I was told I couldn’t try it because they were out of tester spoons. I asked if a regular spoon could be used and was told that wasn’t allowed. I understand that rules are rules, but the interaction lacked flexibility and basic customer care.
Because of the experience, I ended up leaving without any ice cream for myself or my spouse and took my business elsewhere — somewhere more fitting for the season. As a long-time, loyal customer, that was disappointing.
Hopefully this is a one-off and not a reflection of the standard moving forward.

Stopped in here because I wanted something sweet. It was a short wait as only 1 staff was behind the counter working & assisting another customer.
I ordered a few chocolates & they were delicious! I bought 3 items & spent $11 so not bad!!
The store was very nice & clean !! & the chocolates tasted so rich & fresh

I normally take my kids here and we enjoy the atmosphere and the ice cream. Tonight I went in and ordered the only flavor I get from scoops, pralines and cream. I noticed that it was melted and asked if there was more available because it looked more milkshakish. I was told no, and that this particular flavor is known to be loose, which wasn’t true because this my favorite flavor. It seemed like the associate had no interest in offering another flavor or a solution, even after I called out that it had never been this watery before.
I hadn’t even made it out of the store before the ice cream started melting. Sad to say it was trashed.

Popped in for some ice cream at Scoops McDonough. Was pleasantly surprised at all of the other goodies beyond ice cream from candy to chocolate covered everything. Large selection of ice cream. Staff was helpful and my ice cream was delicious. Very rich.

The family and I just happen to walk by and decided to go in.
To me it has the feel of a store you want to find in a small town square. ( I know McDonough isn’t a small town anymore lol) But it just seems like something that fits in.
The service was good
The prices was actually really reasonable.
They have candy also which the kids loved
There are a few places to sit but we just grabbed and went.
I had a milk shake and it wasn’t too thick and easy to drink even with a smaller sized straw.
I would definitely take the kids back!

This place is amazing. I’m not really able to eat much here due to a milk allergy but I have brought all of my family here to try it and they say is is amazing. They have a lot of older candy that will bring back memories for all. I love this place and the staff is extremely friendly. If you haven’t tried it yet stop in.

We had an awesome experience despite the previous comments. The employee had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable being it was our first time there. The manager was really nice, I didn’t particularly like my ice cream choice, she recommended another flavor (which was phenomenal) and let me change at no charge! We were also able to buy candy and add to our ice cream if we wanted. I will be returning.
