Food was ok but definitely does not seem like smoked brisket so not sure how they are cooking it but not bbq. It is ok but don’t go looking for real bbq brisket here. Yuca fries were ok but seemed like oil too low of heat as they tasted greasy. Service was good. Overpriced for quality in my opinion.

This place sucks. The prices are legitimately offensive. I am from Texas and if I walked into a restaurant there that wanted to charge me $18 for half a smoked chicken, I would turn around and walk out. If you have the balls to charge $12 for a hamburger in Panama the least you could do is make your own patties instead of reheating frozen ones made in a factory. The creamed corn is weird and has condensed milk in it. Service was bad, never refilled our water and only told us when trying to pay that they don’t take cards

My wife and I decided to try a new spot and Texas Ranch was the choice. We too in the bus from Coronado to Albrook, did a little window shopping, and then took the Metro to the del Carmen stop and walked the 5 minutes to the restaurant.
We weren’t expecting perfection because many of the reviews suggested we might get bad service and/or old meats, but neither was our experience.
The service was great and our waiter was very attentive and helpful. It took about 30 minutes to get our platter, but it’s unrealistic to think food gets made in seconds, so the wait was normal.
To be certain we got the full experience, we ordered the “everything” platter, which included ribs, brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and sausages. We were able to select 4 sides and we chose the potato salad, mac n cheese, curly fries, and coleslaw.
Let me start by saying every thing was cooked to perfection. The chicken was smoky, the ribs tender, brisket moist, sausages spicy, and pulled pork tender and juicy. While. One of it was the very best we’ve ever eaten, all of it was really good and we wouldn’t hesitate to go again!
The prices aren’t expensive by US standards, but they aren’t cheap by Panamanian standards either. For what we paid, we got tons of food and we were very pleased…easy recommend!

Great vibe, the place is nice. The server was really good. The food was delicious, definitely coming back. The food took around 20 minutes to get to our table which I think was really fast.

The flavor of the sausage needs to be improved, but the rest it’s very delicious

It’s small, but the service is really nice and the food was pretty good it’s open air (covered, but with and open front looking over the parking lot) so no AC

I like Texas BBQ, and glad to see this pop up on Google in Panama. I read a one-star review on the ribs, but I still had to check it out for myself. The rating was correct; worst ribs in a long time. Taste like they had been warmed up several times before, then finally microwaved the day we went. They did their best to cover up by drowning in BBQ sauce. Could not finish. Asked for pulled pork sandwich, and waiter brought pork belly. With rubbery skin still attached, I could not eat it. But the waiter was nice, and the Coke and GingerAle in cans tasted ok. Sorry I went: I won’t be going back.
