I am so happy Lavender is close to home. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Egg drop soup, veggie fried rice, Hunan beef, mixed vegetables with chicken are perfection. My son loves their sushi. Don’t forget to try the Jasmine tea- refreshing and cleans your plate for the next bite. Ricky is very attentive and takes great care of customers.

Absolutely delicious meal. They have a seperate Gluten Free menu with lots of options and gluten-free soy sauce. Serving sizes are large and well priced. Clean, inviting atmosphere. Incredible service. We ordered the cashew chicken and the tuna, salmon, and spice yellowtail rolls along with hot tea.

Waited at hostess station for a long time as servers wondered about ignoring us. Had been here before so thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt. Finally got seated and 20 minutes of being ignored with only 3 occuppied tables and servers walking about setting up unused tables. We left. All we got was a “so sorry” on the way out. Service here like so many places now has become apathetic and treat customers like they are an annoyance. Went to another restaraunt and problem was solved. Will not return.

I just couldn’t give more than 3 stars for this place …. however the Sizzling Rice soup was good! The hot tea too. My favorite the Salmon Roe was a bit off colored as was the flavor of it. The Philly roll was good. The shrimp lo mein wasn’t quite up to par. Maybe they were having an off day…..

Took my mom to lunch today, should have been warned when it took 3-5 minutes to be seated or even being acknowledged. We placed our order around 12:20 and did not get our order until 1 pm. I had meetings and we were left in the dark about delays. When asked they said had a big order in front of us. If something is happening that is out of the norm – let your customers know (like will take 40 minutes to get their food). Utterly disappointed in this visit, the service was just lacking. Do not thing, we will be visiting to ever sit in, will start exploring other options in the area now.
My wife and her co-workers had ordered food from here. They all raved about how good it was. We had family coming over for our daughters birthday. We decided to give Lavender a try. They definitely have a large variety of Chinese and Thai food to choose from along with sushi. If you’re looking for an Asian restaurant this is going to be the place to go to with a large variety. We ended up ordering a tray of chicken lo mein, chicken penang, and two quarts of hot and sour soup.
The food was all very good. Coming from Chicago I appreciate restaurants not skimping on the meat and the vegetables, or portions. I was very pleased with the amount of food in the trays. This place definitely delivered on both. Service and food quality.

I have dined here for years. The food is usually very good. On this occasion the noodles in the Thai Pad were overdone and difficult to chew. The hot and sour soup was excellent.

Fresh sushi!!! Location is a strip mall, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the yummies! Went with a full age range of diners and all were highly satisfied! From the miso soup to the fried ice cream and everything in-between, the food was fresh. We had a great time sharing dishes and snatching the last piece of sushi from each other.

Couldn’t even rate the food given we didn’t get to eat. We made a reservation for 6:30. It was 7:20 before we decided to just leave. We left because the waiter kept walking past us, making eye contact, and didn’t take our order. The manager walked past us several times, saw us with menus and no drink and didn’t say anything. It wasn’t until I got up from the table to ask for to-go order ETAs (40 mins btw) that the waiter AND the manager looked our tables way. Then they ran to our table asking to take our order, by that time we were already leaving. We heard great things about the restaurant but we didn’t get to experience that due to the poor service.
