Alright, we’re (my family) here so often I have just started asking them to surprise me. I cant think of anything I have tried here that I wasn’t impressed with. Plus its so fun to go for Jazz night. The vibes hit right, even my 6yo loves trying the colorful food.
I recommend an Ume (plum) Highball and the Max Maguru roll. Dont forget some Lumpia.

Update: Since this review, My brother and I have made it a habit to come here every Sunday for lunch/dinner and the service has always been great. The staff here is always super sweet too.
Wow! Highball surely did not disappoint tonight. This was our first time here and we were greeted by a friendly staff. The booths are very roomy and the interior here is very warm and welcoming. They have live music from 6-9pm on Sundays and their happy hour options are great. I ordered a Lychee martini and it was amazing.
As for the sushi? Amazing. I ordered crunchy salmon and the elote ( which I highly recommend, I know it seems interesting but the elote fusion with sushi was a yummy combination) our waitress was so sweet and we got to talk to the head sushi chef who was also an awesome guy. For dessert, I ordered Tempura ice cream which was very interesting as well.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. We will be back 🙂

Found Highball on google maps since we were in from out of town. The high review for such a new restaurant really caught my eye. We arrive about 8:15pm and were immediately seated by a friendly staff. I should not my wife isn’t big on Asian cuisine. We started with a Japanese old fashioned and margarita which were both great. Ordered the ban fried dumplings for an appetizer and was hoping she would like them. I normally eat about 2/3 of the appetizer but not tonight. She really enjoyed the dumplings. She ordered the Hibachi chicken bowl and we ordered 3 sushi rolls. The Alaskan, shrimp tempura, and crunchy rolls. There was way more sushi than we both expected. The Alaskan was mouth watering good followed closely by the shrimp tempura. The crunchy salmon was our least favorite although still really good. Think you guys may have changed her mind on Asian cuisine last night. We will be back.

All day happy hour on Sundays! This is a perfect neighborhood joint for us locals who live downtown. I was impressed with my ramen, I’ve had pork in ramen before and it’s very dried out – not the case here. Moist pork, fresh fried rice and great service. I think it was Liz who took care of us and we were impressed.

So great to have this new restaurant! The lumpia was amazing (we had three orders)! Can’t go wrong with anything from our experience. Our table has the lumpia, wings, fried rice, tonkatsu ramen, adobo, steam bun tacos, and a bbq beef bowl. I’d order any of them again but there is much more to try next time. Portions were plenty big. Service was great and everyone was very personable. Please give them a try!

Went to Highball Sushi + Kitchen for a family members birthday this past Sunday. It was Happy Hour! We tried the Tonkatsu Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen, Lumpia, Gyoza, Spicy Tuna Rolls, and Crunchy Cali Rolls. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was calm. The seating was comfortable. The prices were reasonable. The portions were generous. The service was fantastic! The birthday girl got to choose a complimentary dessert for her birthday! She chose the Vanilla Tempura Ice Cream! We thought it tasted like vanilla ice cream on a funnel cake! The waiter even sang Happy Birthday with us! We will be back!

As someone who has lived in Japan and eaten real, delicious sushi, this place is fantastic. Not only is it better than another sushi I’ve had around OKC, it rivals anything I’ve had in America, and it’s better than some of the sushi I’ve had in Japan. The Ume Highball was good, gyoza was cooked perfectly, spicy edamame was delicious, and the Lucky and 9-Ball were both fantastic rolls. Highly recommend stopping in and eating anything you can. You won’t be disappointed.
