The portion of meat is excellent. The pita is very soft. The veggies are fresh. The fries are okay, they were served hot. They have self serve ketchup available. They have fountain drinks served in foam cups. The booths are somewhat dated. It’s a small restaurant. Overall a good place experience.

Overall, its fine I guess. It definitely strikes me as popular due to Rock Islands small size and limited availability of anything else.
Ordered a traditional gyro and a Chicago dog just to try multiple things. Chicago dog was great but was given to me on a stale bun, but was still better than the gyro.
Size of the Gyro was fine but lacked any amount of tomato and very little amounts of Taziki paired with their massive amount of toenail sized onion chunks.
Definitely a one and done as far as stopping in.

We LOVE the Greek salads! They are sooooo delicious! The only thing that drops the ratings down is that they seem to close early all the time ( Before 8 pm) and we have tried calling and stopping by but the workers seem to try to dip outta there by 730. Otherwise, it’s a 5 star review and the food is GREAT!

Going to Dr. Gyro’s is quick and easy for me. I enjoy the food. But… It bugs me that when I order a Gyro they barely put any Tzatiki Sauce on it. It’s barely there. So, I order extra on the side but that really adds to the cost of my purchase. I’m not asking for an absorbent amount of Tzatiki Sauce, but enough where I can see it and taste it. Hum…

They were having issues with their menu display while I was there, but they had menus printed and ready to go. My food was prepared quickly, tasted great and even reheated good enough for my picky self to enjoy it the next day. I will be returning often.

I ordered 3 gyros.. ..$38…with extra meat.. very pricey…didn’t have enough sauce…or tomatoes on sandwich. Before I finished paying gentleman walked into back didn’t offer ” Thank you for coming, come again”…just was not good service, will not be a repeat customer.
