Great Eastern NC Barbeque. BBQ Hut has been serving up barbeque in Fayetteville NC since 1965. We love it. Its in our name, lol. We’re a local family business and we cook and slice our barbeque right on the premises at our Owen Drive location. My wife, kids and I are continuing a tradition When you want to experience ‘southern hospitality’ at its best, come on over and see us. We are definitely looking forward to having you. We take great pride in our work and we’d love to have you drop by and sample some of what many consider to be the best barbeque in Fayetteville.

I absolutely loved this place. They had wonderful service. We dealt mostly with Laura and she was such a wonderful person to speak to. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had the hush puppies, pulled pork sandwich, fries, and a drink. The food came out quickly and it was fresh and hot. We were able to get free refills as well when we dined in! The prices were pretty average, but we aren’t complaining! We truly enjoyed the food, we just don’t enjoy Carolina bbq as much as most people. We would easily eat here again.

Ordered the pulled pork today with collards and baked beans for the sides. The food just seemed mid at best. The baked beans had no flavor same for the collard greens , which were also mushy like they had been sitting a long time. The pork itself wasn’t horrible but just didn’t make me want more as I ate it. And I should note I was hungry. The hush puppies that came with the meal were the best part. And the restaurant just uses sweet baby rays bbq sauce. There was nothing that stood out or that was unique about the food that made me want to come back again.

I don’t recommend going here, especially if you don’t like being treated a little differently for no apparent reason. I dealt with one woman, and she was ugly with me. She never said thank you, never said you’re welcome, even when I said thank you. She had an attitude with my wife and me, and I washed her after giving everyone their receipt in their hand while she placed mine on the counter. When she brought my food to the counter, she didn’t even say anything; she just looked at us and put my drinks and food there. She was nice to everyone else. The other lady was very nice, but the older white lady had a nasty attitude, and we will not go back.
Then I ate the food, and it was seriously flavorless, and I would rather go to Cookout. The best thing was the fries because they had more taste than the barbecue. The prices were excellent, though I guess you get what you pay for.

Local Barbecue near Fort Bragg. Inside dinning room was very clean and staff were helpful when it came to helping me pick food items. I really enjoyed the fried chicken and the cakes(chocolate and vanilla). The barbecue had too much vinegar. Other than that great experience!

Stopped at BBQ HUT (2802 Fort Bragg Rd. ️ 97 Sanitation) for late lunch today. Everything was perfect from the sides to the perfectly breaded chicken & great customer service I ordered the Small Plate White which comes with 2 sides & 3 Hushpuppies. My Total was $7.29 but worth $10+ for how much you get. Was in line (Drive-Thru ONLY at the moment) for no more than 8 mins for Fresh cooked food is a WIN! Will remember to make the drive to support this great business.
