I heard this was a must for ice cream. So we came and we ordered a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Collider, it was delicious! There is only outdoor seating, but they have a nice big patio with umbrellas. There was multiple people taking orders at several windows so the wait wasn’t terribly long. I would definitely come again.

I’ve been coming to Dairy Freeze since I was a child and over the past thirty a lot has changed but the food here has remained consistently good. I make it a point to stop by every time I pass through Altavista.

This is a road side ice cream shop with some food. They have soft serve ice cream and yogurt. We order a small cups and it was still a pretty good size. Both the ice cream and yogurt were yummy. We didn’t have and food but the couple next to us said they had the best hot dogs. We definitely will be back.

We stopped here after visiting the local park. It was our first time and everything was affordable, fresh, delicious, they have outdoor seating that was full but we still were able to sit. The crowd was in and out, the service was amazing, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The people we met at the park invited us to their table and we overall had a splendid time.
