Ate at Gus’ based on a recommendation. I had the Gyro with fries and my daughters had hamburgers. The gyro was just ok. The reviews on the burgers were split, 1 good, 1 meh. It was quick though, just not a destination place.

Food was ok, original 1978 gyro was really big but flavor wasn’t anything to get excited about. Fries were pretty solid and the fry portions for a large was quite big. The polish sausage was pretty small and had been sitting for a while, the skin had shriveled up and it was wrinkly. I asked for cheese on my sausage and I got cheese sauce in a cup, not quite what I was looking for. Asked for a to-go box and I got a sheet of foil paper and a bag, also not quite. The services was good and fast, the girl at the counter was nice and explained the menu. Atmostphere was pretty cool aside from it being attached to a gas station. I don’t feel like it was a very good value – 1 polish dog, 1 gyro meal with cheese came out to $31 as of Feb 2026. The food was just ok, nothing great, service was good, and didn’t impress for the price.

We were looking for something good but fast. Always wanted to stop here and now was the time! Glad we did stop in. The service was great and friendly. The food was very good but the fish fry was just ok. The fresh cut fries should not be missed! Be sure to get a gyro, or 2 OR a BFG! This place is worth the stop. Take time to check out the decor – very cool!

My coworker and I came here for lunch and it was really good! The original gyro is delicious! The fries are good, but the large far exceeds the amount an average diner could eat, so beware. The staff were all friendly, and the dining area was clean and orderly.

I ordered a Chicago hot dog and small fries with 2 gyro sauces. $17 .

Got a bad pickle
Needless to say hotdog wasn’t good with a rock hard bun. Way too expensive for the quality of product they sell. Not to mention a hot dog. $17 for a hot dog ? Ridiculous … if it was tasty then ok but not for this. I waited quite awhile for the food to be prepared . I chose a hot dog because I guess I thought it would be quick .., nah never coming here again

Updated Review – 4/2/23: I ordered the BFG gyro. It was HUGE! I had the leftovers for lunch the next day! It was delicious! I still can’t believe how big it was. The fries and onion rings were also incredible! I highly recommend eating at Gus’s Gyros. You will NOT be disappointed! I guarantee it.

One word…. DELICIOUS!!! There is NO WAY you can ever complain about not getting enough food or the portions are too small. The Gyros are HUGE!!! I got the normal 1978 Gyro “The Original”. I couldn’t finish it. I am eating the rest for lunch tomorrow. My wife got a pint of Gus’s Famous Chicken Dumplin Zoup. (Yes, that is how they spell it.) It was delicious.
So… the food is incredible, the restaurant is clean, the employees are super friendly and helpful, and the service is fast…. What more could you ask for?
I highly recommend Gus’s Gyros!!! 5 stars for customer service!

Ordered delivery through door dash. Gyro tasted like any other gyro but it was a decent size. I was surprised that you have to pay extra for the tzatziki sauce as it does not come on it. I do not recommend their chili cheese fries. It was loaded but tasted bland.

If you want an awesome Gyro to actually fully satisfy your craving & hunger THIS IS THE PLACE! I’ve eaten here over a dozen times and it only gets better every time. The food is always hot & juicy and tastes really yummy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! & if you’re extra hungry order the BFG, you’ll thank me later.

Went to Gus’s Gyros and ordered the large fries (which were almost a bag full) and the BFG (big f gyro)..omg both of these items were HUGE..hubby and I shared and had more than enough food and probably could have brought some home if it wasn’t so dang good. We ate the whole thing!!! IMO better than Oakland Gyros..We will most definitely be back!!!!
