We don’t get to Hardee’s much since we moved a few hours away but we always stop when in town! First time back in awhile and food and staff were great as usual- last couple times we’ve been there we’ve gotten the same gal named Dani to take our order. She’s the best! Super friendly and attentive. The kids love her she even had them eating raisins and they never suspected a thing! If you stop in in the morning you have to get the iced coffee with vanilla

Fast food spots in small towns are my favorites, and the Hardee’s in Toledo, IA is a real gem. Whenever I pass through the town on my way from Cedar Rapids to Ames, I always try to stop by this location for some good grub. The people who work there are always so kind and expedient with customers. They also go out of there way to check on those who dine in, seeing if they’re pleased with their meal and if they might need any sauce to go with their sandwich. The food is ALWAYS made fresh here. The fries are particularly well made. This location is celebrated locally for how they prepare their roast beef and hot ham and cheese sandwiches. I couldn’t agree more with their consensus. The interior dining area (while modernized like all other fast food places these days) still retains a nice cozy atmosphere. They also have several charging stations for phones and other electronics. The entire place is always clean and organized (including the restrooms. The drive-thru is as equally swift and courteous with their service, by the way. They even have a roof over the pay/pick-up window so nobody needs to worry about getting their stuff wet on a rainy day. Also has a nice spacious parking lot with plenty of spaces close to the building. If you’re looking a for relaxing, appetite-nourishing meal for a half-hour, this is the perfect place to be.

Really good service, food is kinda mid, atmosphere is slightly lacking. The food I ordered was the Big Burger and the onions were cut weird and it was hard to hold. The drinks had the perfect water to syrup ratio.
