10/10! We loved this experience. We ordered the tasting menu which came with so much fish, lots of opportunities to introduce our palates to new and rich flavors like hamachi, congee, and specialty sardines, oysters, and mushrooms. The one downside is that even though we did have a reservation, we still had to wait for our table. Thankfully they were able to seat us at the bar until our table was ready. Staff members went above and beyond kind and attentive, especially the bartender. We can’t wait to bring our seafood loving friends and family here.

I recently visited Jacqueline, and overall it was a pretty enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a cozy, slightly upscale vibe that feels perfect for a seafood-focused dinner. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff made the whole meal feel relaxed and welcoming.
The oysters were definitely the highlight — super fresh and full of flavor. A few of the other dishes were good as well, though some felt a bit more about presentation than taste.
Overall, I think Jacqueline is a great spot if you’re looking for fresh oysters. Consider most of the dishes are small, it is on the pricier side. Recommend to come for their happy hour oyster deal, or it is too expensive to me. It is a Resy restaurant, bring you Amex card to use your Resy Credit.

Rich! And delicious! And fun! We started the night by sneaking in under-the-wire for oyster Happy Hour, and then moved on to a scrumptious, satisfying dinner. If you’re craving seafood, you’ve simply got to go. Dessert was great too. Definitely need reservations.

We went for happy hour oysters but we didn’t make it in time, lol. But we still got oysters and other items. The oysters were good and came with a variety of sauces. The hamachi crudo was delicious, especially the pineapple slices. Unfortunately the items we got were not exactly what we expected. The fried oysters on the steak tartare was a little strange, and it made the whole tartare taste like the batter of the oysters. The scallop with mushrooms was overloaded mushrooms, it tasted very muddled which was disappointing because I’m pretty sure it was the most expensive item we got. The cauliflower was forgettable because I literally forgot I even ordered it til I looked at my pics, lol. The wait staff were really nice and also gave us recs for bars because there was a wait.

The $1. Happy Hour oysters are the best. Unfortunately their reservations are limited. They do take walk ins and if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour, go early and be prepared to stand in line.
There were 3 of us and we sat at the bar and enjoyed friendly conversation with the bartender.
We had oysters, tuna, and bread. All good.

A nice classy vibe with an excellent happy hour oyster deal. They were clean and fresh, with low salinity/brine. The different droppers all enhanced the oyster without overpowering. Can’t beat a dozen oysters and pint of beer for $15. Would highly recommend to anyone

Everything we ate here was delicious but the most surprisingly delightful and unique bite we had was the focaccia dipped in their kombu oil. The focaccia itself was great but whatever magic they infuse into that oil is exceptional. Also, if they’ve got the tom kha mussels, you should order them too.

We arrived about 10 mins before they opened at 5pm and were the first walkins seated. The happy hour of $1 oysters is a fantastic draw. We sat down and had oysters in front of us in less than 5 mins. We also got the Caesar salad and the cauliflower. Both were delicious but the Caesar was spectacular.

Fantastic restaurant in Clinton neighborhood in Portland Oregon. Their main push is the one dollar each oysters for happy hour. Since it is inexpensive, I didn’t have a big expectation for the oysters. I was wrong. The oysters are plump and milky, one of the best oysters in the recent years. They also give you 5 different vial of vinegar/sauce. They are distinct and all good. The dishes they serve are excellent. I would return here for many many times.

I recently dined at Jacqueline’s in Portland, and it was fantastic. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made for a great experience, but the food truly stood out. Every dish was incredible the salmon roe was fresh and flavorful, the hamachi crudo was light and citrusy, and the lobster bun was indulgent. The mushroom lobster pasta was creamy and satisfying, while the rainbow trout was cooked perfectly.
The drinks were also great, pairing beautifully with the meal. If you’re in Portland and craving delicious seafood in a relaxed setting, Jacqueline’s is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
