This may be the last time I go here which is a shame. Got a turkey burger and fried pickles. This time it was very under seasoned and rather bland. The fried pickles didn’t hold well on the ride home. They were extremely soggy and mostly stuck together which left a layer of the batter not cooking all the way through for a large portion of them. Lost my appetite halfway through the meal. Going an hour before they close is not recommended. Maybe things are done with more care in the middle of the day.

It was so delicious my friend and I forgot to take pictures, we bought a salmon Philly, a cheeseburger, burger with Italian beef on it, and 2 Oreo shakes & 1 vanilla shake! The service was excellent, the music was nice and the atmosphere was even better! The 1 man that was in there was amazing, he made us feel comfortable since this was our 1st time coming and we will definitely be back real soon since I live right up the street.

Great burger place, my burger was exceptional and the jerk fries were pretty good. Don’t miss the wings and that no-Nanna pudding was simply amazing. The place was small but good for few people to sit and enjoy. The atmosphere was nice, clean music not to loud so you could enjoy conversation.

Positive side: Ample parking, clean establishment, dine in options, friendly staff, reasonable priced, and flavourful food (well seasoned – especially the wings!)
Room for improvement: drying of the grease…it was non existent for this order. Grease was everywhere!
Disappointed: outside of the heavy grease …no where on the menu did it say the nacho burger came with vegan or turkey bacon; however, my sandwich had it…it threw the whole taste off
Overall…would i recommend! The wings?! Yes Ma’am! If you are from the south…you will love the flavor!

This is a family owned restaurant with savory and delicious food. There were so many items that I wish I could try. This was my first time at this restaurant so I ordered the wings with the Boss Sauce on the side and the jerk fries. Everything was so yummy and perfectly seasoned.
I will definitely go back. They have vegan options and a salmon burger that looks intoxicatingly delectable! You have to try them. I do not believe you can go wrong with anything you order. I also saw other customers getting shakes and a sundae

This food is horrible! The wings are huge! The turkey burger is pink with odd tasting seasonings! These fries are very old! This is a whole mess! I definitely was not expecting to receive food like this! NEVER AGAIN!!

Food was great. We enjoyed the vegan burger (beyond) was done really well. Onion rings were really good. Mambo sauce was good with everything. My only critique that the interior needs some love and updating. It I will continue this establishment and hope they can make improvements so that it is more aesthetically appealing.

This place doesn’t look like much but the food was amazing. Everything is cooked fresh and is thrown together well. The Rico’s Jerk Burger I had was fantastic and went beyond my expectations. The staff here is extremely nice and makes you feel like home here. This isn’t Wendy’s or Burger King. This place leaves fast food restaurants in the dust. Also, if you like some variety, the menu has types of burgers I’ve never even heard of before.

Follow up: I appreciate management responding to my review. I appreciate their effort to rectify the experience I had, that goes a long way. I will be returning, the food is amazing.
1 Star for horrendous customer service this evening. I patronize this restaurant at least 2-3 times a month. The Tropical Habanero Wings are beyond amazing, sweet and not too hot. and that is what I ordered with small fries with the Tropical Habanero sauce….because it is just that good. Placed my order, made a run since it takes about 20-25 minutes to get the order, I returned, my order was ready, I picked it up and went home….only to find the wings had no sauce – normally they are generously sauced with extra to dip on the bottom. I returned to the restaurant, let them know the issue and the young lady told me, you only wanted sauce on the fries. What? Check the receipt, Tropical Habanero Wings. She proceeded to argue with me, trying to sauce the cold wings. I told her the order needed to be remade, she argued some more then, wait for it, proceeded to take my wing order and drop it back in the fryer – Department of Health Violation. You cannot put food back in prep area that has been removed from the premises. Once I said that, she took the wings out and dropped fresh wings. So I waited right there, for about 20-25 minutes, got my wings, ready to devour the wings, drenched in that amazing sauce like the first time we enjoyed them- see pictures below, if you have had their wings with sauce, you know they are generous with it….only to get home and find out, she merely drizzled a little sauce on the wings. I have never had this issue at this location and I hope to never again. The food is great and I support wholeheartedly black owned businesses in my neighborhood. This young lady needs a course in Customer Service, I was not rude, nor disrespectful but her response and displeasure with being corrected by a customer, which was on full display for the other patrons, is not acceptable. I hope the owner of this establishment takes note of this review.
