I picked up a takeout order today and the experience was unnecessarily frustrating. When I pulled up, there’s a sign that clearly says to park for takeout and call a number. I called and was told they “don’t do that anymore.” The restaurant was literally empty no customers inside so I don’t understand why someone couldn’t just bring the order out, or at the very least why the sign hasn’t been removed or updated. I sat there confused for no reason.
When I went inside to grab my order, I asked for condiments. I stepped back for a moment to grab chopsticks, and during that time the cashier apparently placed the condiments on the counter without handing them to me or saying anything. I had no idea they were there and stood waiting for a while. Eventually she asked if I needed anything else, and when I said yes….my condiments… she said they were “right there,” meaning they had been sitting on the counter the entire time while I waited.
The restaurant was empty … so this wasn’t a matter of being busy just poor communication and lack of attentiveness. That said, the food from Fire Island Grill is great, which is why this was disappointing. Better signage and clearer customer service would really improve the takeout experience.

This is a great local pick if you want a good rice/noodle bowl! I recommend thier Island Rice instead of the standard white or brown. They fry tofu fresh to order, so if you are vegetarian, this is a pretty good option.

Great meal and large portions. The signature rice was great and the chicken was cooked perfect with lots of flavor. Staff was very friendly!

The food here never disappoints. The chicken and pork bowl and plate are great and the shrimp tacos are really good too. I like the variety of options and the flexibility to make changes to the dishes.

Fire Island Grill is one of my favorite places to eat in the Antelope Valley. I have tried a couple of their salads, rice bowls (chicken and steak), noodle bowls, and the tilapia sandwich. As for sauces, I have tried the peanut sauce, pineapple teriyaki sauce, and Fire Island teriyaki sauce. I have never been disappointed with a meal. The food is always fresh and delicious. Is addition, the staff is friendly and hard working. Unlike many similar establishments, they don’t let tables sit uncleared and uncleaned. The prices are quite reasonable and the tea is fresh brewed and refreshing. Fire Island Grill is a casual dining establishment, with customers ordering and paying at the counter before being seated.

Food was decent. A little overpriced for what we get but overall it was okay. The employees are very friendly.

This is a go-to place for us…love that you can get quality food for a decent price and it isn’t usually too busy. Tip: get one of the local team “sponsor cards” and you’ll get 2-for-1 with the purchase of drinks – a super deal!
