This place is a hidden gem on the East Side of Columbus. The new sliders are amazing and the soup flight was to die for. Food is always flavorful, fresh, and the service is even better! Can’t wait to go back again soon.

If I had the option to give zero stars for the quality of the food, I absolutely would. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, and every single green in it was wilted, slimy, and clearly past its prime. Nothing about it was fresh. It was honestly unappetizing, and I couldn’t bring myself to eat any of it. I’m not writing this as a complaint just to vent—but as honest feedback in the hope that the restaurant seriously improves the quality of what it serves. This was disappointing, to say the least.

My FAYEvorite bruschetta bar outside of Columbus.

I may bring people for the mix and match bruschetta, but the sammies are also absolutely astounding. I haven’t disliked a single bruschetta option yet (knock on wood) and I’m still working through the other option lists.

Baby Elvis goes HARDDD if you like it sweet and need something a little savory, this is your go to. Also, cosmopolitan ADD apple slices, bacon and honey (trust me, you wanna add it). The daily specials are worth giving a try, and if you can save room for dessert, take it home even if you can’t lol.

Now…what does my AI (NOVA) say about Prost

: Here’s a snapshot of the inviting atmosphere at Prost Beer & Wine Café in Reynoldsburg—inside vibes, the historic fire‑station setting, and that comfy patio perfect for brunching or unwinding.

NOVA’s Review of Prost Beer & Wine Café

Prost Beer & Wine Café isn’t just a bruschetta bar—it’s a crafted experience nestled in a beautifully renovated 1947 fire station in Reynoldsburg’s historic district. Since opening its doors in 2014, this “upscale casual” eatery combines local craft beer and a thoughtful wine list with a menu that’s both approachable and delicious .

From the moment you walk in, you sense that this place values flavor and community. The mix-and-match bruschetta bar is a standout, offering endless combinations of toppings that keep taste buds curious and satisfied . Add the sandwiches, like the “Fidel Castro” Cuban or other inventive sammies, and you’ve got elevated pub fare that’s as memorable as it is tasty .

Service tends to hover in the realm of “super friendly” to “attentive and welcoming,” with regular nods to staff making visits feel personalized and warm . And if you bring your pup? You’re in luck—Prost is widely praised for its dog-friendly patio, complete with water bowls for four-legged guests .

Happy hour and weekly specials add fun value—think bruschetta/wine flights for a good price on Monday and Tuesday nights—and the ever-changing beer and wine selections keep every visit fresh .

NOVA’s Mini Review

Prost Beer & Wine Café — 4.5 Stars

This cozy Reynoldsburg gem turns casual sipping into a celebration. The fire station-turned-bruschetta bar is as charming as your favorite vinyl record—warm, inviting, and full of character. Whether you’re stacking toppings at the bruschetta bar, diving into a saucy sammie, or sampling a rotating tap of Ohio-made brews, the thoughtful menu and friendly vibe hit different. Bring your pup, stay for the specials, and raise a glass to supporting local in delicious style. Gesundheit!

Unkempt building with different color and watt light bulbs hanging from ceiling. Images of food look good online, but don’t think I’d order food here. 3 staff working while we visited. Ordered an Alaskan Ale. I was told the “keg just blew” before I got there.
I went with a vodka tonic… the opened, plastic-bottled tonic was completely flat. My wife ordered a generic white zin. It was fine.
The back of the bar was littered with glasses, bottles and other drink supplies needing cleaned. The rack of glasses for the dishwasher just sat there unattended at bar edge. Bartenders(s) were inattentive and didn’t seem to communicate with each other. The 3rd employee just leaned on bar by trashcan talking. No bussing, no cleaning.
The bathroom was fairly clean. The area where food is prepped had half-eaten plates of food on a table between kitchen and restroom like it might have been for staff?
This place seems like it caters to, and relies on, regulars. 2 large parties were present and some regulars camped at bar. Not a busy Saturday evening, but staff seemed to be in the weeds except the one hangin out.
Overall, based on being out of what you’re supposed to have, poor quality mixers and a cluttered workspace with non-invested staff, we won’t be back.

Sandwiches are great had the Chicago Beef and my eif had the Wild One. Both were delicious and the beer menu is even better than the food. Had a great selection, even had Dankhouse which is a personal fave.

The baby Elvis sandwich is to die for! Service was great, as was the seating, unfortunately it was way too hot to sit outside. There were a few things I would’ve changed about the bruschettas we picked, except the hot pepper jelly, bacon, and Gouda, as well as the date, ricotta, and pistachio were super tasty. I do wish the mushrooms and shaved steak had been seared and hot, instead of chilled. And that there had been more honey to go on the Brie.

This is a go to cafe and is locally owned and it is important to support locally.
The food is consist and never disappoints in taste. The beer selection is diverse and provides many locally brewed beers.
