Been here many times. Food and service has always been great…until today. Arrived at 11 AM and business was slow so I figured I would be able to enjoy a super tasty meal at one of my favorite restaurants on the North Shore. Receptionist sat me in a super awkward place at a small 2 person table in between the server station and the door that leads outside. Highly uncomfortable with the traffic going in and out the door and having to listen to chatter chatter at the server station. Super uncomfortable place to eat in the building. That table needs to go. Requested to move to the back part of the room. From this point everything started to become better. Server was very polite. Ordered a cup of gumbo and an appetizer which came out almost immediately and was very good. The entrée however was another thing. I had time to eat the cup of gumbo, part of the appetizer and then proceeded to wait for the entrée…and I waited for almost half an hour. Server finally returned and said it will be any minute now….???! What?? So at this point I flagged him down and told him to box everything up and get me the check. So almost immediately he comes back out with the entrée boxed up?!! Pretty irritated at this point so I paid my ticket, left a generous tip for the server and was headed out the door. On a whim I asked the young Receptionist by the door “Where is your manager?”. At first she looked like I asked her to solve a complex math question, then she looked over at the bartender and they both told me that the manager left to go somewhere. I said OK that’s fine who is running the place right now. Again with the crazy questioning looks. Bartender spoke up and asked what the problem was I told her that the experience was horrible, and just wanted to relay that to the manager.
The food here is great, but at an expense of poor staff decisions and kitchen time management I and my family will find another place to spend $49 to $50 a person. Also the entrée was horrible as well. I ordered the creole pasta. It was 98% pasta with about 2% sausage and chicken. I could count on my fingers how many peices of meat were in the meal. For $20 thats no dice for me. Hopefully no one else gets any kind of experience that I had there. I really felt as though I had to let someone know because it breaks my heart as I really enjoyed the food there. Have a great day

The triple threat, food, service, and atmosphere. I can’t find anything negative about the pub. The food is straight FIYA, and I’ve never had a bad item thus far. I’ve been 5 times now across the past 3 years, and it’s been consistent every time. Cool layout, outdoor patio, located across from the Saturday morning farmers market, bike trail runs along the side of the patio, and the staff is friendly and courteous. You have to try the Crawfish Mac-N-Cheese. Just go by and enjoy

Ordered a flight, which was an excellent value for the money! We also had the BBBQ Crab Claws! They were very tasty, and also a good value!

We showed up on a rainy Saturday morning, to no wait and a wonderful seat at the bar. I had a flight of different habita beers while we ate gumbo and a muffaletta. Every bit of the experience was amazing.

Disappointed with our experience. It’s a shame because we love the atmosphere and location, and the beer selection is great. We waited about 20 minutes to be greeted and had to go to the front to ask for drink menus and a high chair (second request). From sitting down, it took over 45 minutes for the crab cake appetizer to come out, and our entrées arrived immediately after, so we had to send them back to stay hot. I understand they were busy, but our server did nothing to make the experience better or make us feel like we mattered. Requests for extra lemons was ignored. The pecan catfish was lackluster. The fries were the best part. Our total with tip was $95, not worth it, and we won’t be back.

Friendly staff and a nice vibe. The beer: obviously excellent. But if you like catfish, this is easily some of the best ever! My wife says the blackened shrimp salad was also very good.

We very much enjoyed our visit here, we stopped in on a Tuesday late afternoon for a drink and a snack. It’s right next to the bike path and had a very friendly vibe. It had a great community feel with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our young waitress was friendly. They pipe music outside at an appropriate volume so it’s a nice place to be able to chat. We would make this a regular stop if we lived in the area!

Not too often you get food that amazes you with everything you get and the service matches it. I travel for work and eat all over the country. This is a great place to eat. I have eaten here many times during my work visit and I will miss it when I go back home. Thanks Darla especially.

Loved the quaintness of the place. The patio was shaded and has giant fans and misters doing their job and keeping it comfortable, It was very comfortable, even on a hot day.
Service was good and there’s a nice selection of beers and cocktails to choose from. Meal menu gives great choices as well. With all the burgers, poboys, salads, pastas and daily specials, It was hard to choose!!
Food was good, but for me it needed a little more seasoning, but the portions were very fair. We will definitely be back on our next visit.
