There aren’t many buffets around my area. However, Yoki Buffet is convenient and happens to be one of the best buffets I have found. I have traveled cost to coast and border to border, and Yoki is in the top three I have found. Give it a try and see if you agree.

The food is horrible! Yoki use to be our favorite place to go until we went and found a roach in our soy sauce. I told the waiter who took the bottle and drained it to get the roach out and put the soy sauce back in to the same bottle without cleaning anything or replacing it with a clean bottle and soy sauce!! Also, the oysters on the cold bar smell like feces and are inedible. I also brought this to the server’s attention, he then took the plate of oysters and never even checked them or took the ruined ones off the bar. Another server interjected when she saw me trying to get him to smell them and she says to me “FRESH!” No they aren’t fresh at all and I proceeded to show him by washing one off in a bowl of water, and the bowl of water was disgusting with parasites floating in it! Why not just remove the clearly rotten food? The food on the hibachi grill doesn’t look good at all and isn’t cooked well. The cook just sits there watching his phone and acts like he is bothered when you want hibachi. He gets up and doesn’t wash his hands nor does he put on gloves and proceeds to cook for you! Disgusting!!! I feel like you need to need to check your food out and instead of charging customers for not eating rotten food,(because the signs say they charge for any food not eaten on the plates) put actual edible food on your bar! And tell your servers to do their jobs!! They literally just sit there in a chair nearby watching their phones until you “summons” them for a refill! I am too disgusted by the overall quality of the food and the laziness and disrespect of the workers to ever try this place again!

I got the lunch special L30. Bourbon Chicken. Dark meat chicken with a good flavor, pork fried rice ( yellow rice with onions, peas, carrots and pork pieces) and a egg roll. Egg roll was good with a bit more breading than I’m used to but still a great roll. Definitely will be back to try out the buffet. Restaurant was clean people were nice my take out experience was a great one!

Edit-
Don’t let the picture fool you. This bowl weighed I’m sure 3-4 pounds and the mass was chicken.

The food was good, but oddly, the ice-cream cost an extra $2 and was sold in containers. I’m used to an ice-cream machine being part of the buffet.

The staff were friendly enough. There was a gentleman that appeared to be in charge that didn’t seem very friendly.

The buffet had a smaller selection than most but that can be a good thing. They can focus on quality over quantity.

I loved their plain fried chicken wings. My sisters had hibachi cooked for them. They had the coffee cakes my sister loves. I will be coming back.

Arrived for lunch about noon and our party of 3 was promptly seated, we requested a booth and we had to wait just a few minutes while they cleaned a booth, the buffet was well kept and all the food was hot and fresh, It was an overall good experience.

It is a pretty good buffet with several choices that should satisfy everyone on your family! They have a salad and fruit buffet. They have individual ice cream cups in several flavors. They had soup and several desserts to choose from. They had favorite Chinese dishes and they had a hibachi grill. The restroom is clean and the service is good. Restrooms are also clean. In this pandemic, you must wear a mask and a plastic glove ,in order to serve yourself at the buffet tables.

Wow! This was the largest Chinese buffet I’ve personally seen in north Alabama and everything I ate was amazing! Clean buffet, sushi and hibachi bar, kind and fast staff, and good prices! Can’t wait to come back and bring my entire family!

We stopped by after visiting the unclaimed baggage store. The food was on the average side. I agree with another reviewer here that the highlight is the service. Everyone was friendly and made sure to take care of their guests.

My husband went straight to the hibachi and filled his plate with beef, he enjoyed his food. I tried a little piece and it was not bad. Their sushi was okay, kind of on par with grocery store sushi. None of their protein really stood out to me. Their seafood delight was pretty good but was a little bland. My favorite dish was actually their mushroom with lobster sauce. This was excellent, the mushroom had the right texture and it was so flavorful! I got this on my second plate and wished I had mixed this with the seafood delight on my 1st plate. The other dish I actually got seconds on was this strange looking phyllo dough tart. Not sure if it was phyllo dough it was thin and crispy but maybe not quite as thin as phyllo dough. I thought it was some sort of seafood mixture inside, but it was a slightly sweet bread (almost like a bread pudding) in the middle of the crunchy crust. I loved it! It’s basically a dessert, but I’ve never had anything like it before but I’m a fan. I didn’t try any of their other desserts except for the ice cream cup.

Our lunch for 3 with 3 drinks came out to be less than 40 before tip. Not bad!
