Absolutely Phenomenal!

Every single thing we ordered at Everest Indian was outstanding! The steamed chicken momos were delicate and perfectly flavored. The butter chicken was incredibly rich and tender, pairing perfectly with the fresh, warm naan. To top it all off, the mango lassi was beautifully sweet and refreshing.

If you are looking for incredible, high-quality Indian/Pakistani/Afghani/Nepali food, look no further. The food is phenomenal, and I will definitely be coming back!

We were the first customers when it open. The stuff are so friendly and down to earth. The food is very flavourfull and well made. It’s not so spicy like typical indian food but that’s why you get all the other flavour indian foods can offer. Will go again soon!

This is a new restaurant just opened after Globe Indian left. They serve wonderful northern Indian and Nepali dishes. Everything was carefully prepared and very flavorful. Highly recommend!

We stopped by this restaurant on Sunday after church. We were the first customers of the day as they open at 11am. They opened the doors early and welcomed us in. We had the buttered chicken. It was creamy and well balanced. My son ordered it as medium plus heat level. The coconut really cut down the heat, so you might order hotter than you think you want. The chicken Rogan Josh was ordered as hot and it delivered. It definitely had a good amount of spice and I liked the cilantro in it. We also had the chicken coconut korma. It was ordered as hot and again the coconut reduced the heat yet it was delicious. We had an order of the garlic naan and it was delicious. I liked the added flavor. We grabbed one of their mango drinks on the way out. It is yogurt forward and would be great for a breakfast on the go or as a drink to go with a nice and spicy meal. They seemed new. We talked to the staff and found out they had only opened a week ago. I’m excited to see how they continue to grow.

Overall, it was not busy at all when I walked in even on Valentine’s Day. The veggie samosa was delicious, but the veggie and chicken pakora was just alright since the chicken was overcooked. The aloo paratha and the lamb rogan josh were just okay, they needed a little more salt or seasoning to it. The chicken chili momos were delicious. Despite the flaws, it’s an addition to the dining scene of the Manhattan, KS area and I might come back to try more things on the menu.

This was the best food I have had in Manhattan ever. I had the coconut lamb and it was so good. I had to have it twice. I was greeted with such kindness from the owner and the rest of the staff. This food was like getting a kiss from God himself. I will definitely be returning tomorrow

I had lunch with a friend, and shared a lamb tiki masala with rice, and 2 kinds of naan.

It was delicious!!

The lamb was tender, and the sauce was well spiced. Everything was fresh. The owner/chef is a friend of mine, and I have eaten at his house, and it was just as good as the homemade real deal.

The naan (one garlic, and the other with lots of stuff in it) had just a little leaven, and wasn’t overly spiced. It was just right for my tastes.

For dessert, we shared the chilled Mango yogurt thing. It is a simple, lovely, fresh, refreshing dessert treat, and I get one every time I go there, but I like such things..

In the past, I’ve had the Chai tea, and it was well done.

The leftovers are particularly good, and you will have leftovers if you order 1 entree per person. With one entree and 2 naans at lunch, we had enough for 2(small) evening leftover meals. Southeast Asian food get better when it is reheated(I believe that), and the naan is takes to the microwave nicely.

It is under new ownership(since early February 2026), and the recipes have changed. I’ve talked about this location to several friends that weren’t impressed with the previous version. I highly suggest you try again!

The first time I ate there(3 weeks ago), I was talking to the owner, and a fella came up from his table and interrupted. He, with some passion, said that his meal was his best meal in a long time. lol.
