Hidden Gem! Don’t let the name fool you, this is a very good restaurant with authentic Mexican food. I started with the 8 oz.Texas Top Shelf Margarita, which was delicious. And then I ordered the Arrachera, skirt steak, grilled onions, and shrimp served with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado, Spanish rice, charro beans, and three tortillas. It was a lot of food, and I was impressed with the almost whole lime I got along with a roasted pepper. Yum! The food is definitely above average and my husband and I will return when we’re driving by.

Food came out fast but server didn’t pay much attention. Corn tortillas weren’t cooked right so fell apart right away. Margarita didn’t seem like 12 oz. Carne asada has good flavor!

Friendly greeting at the door for my to go order. All requests were accommodated from online ordering. Food was hot and fresh. The Arroz Texano plate was awesome! 3 meats, veggies and cheese dip over rice is the move! Steak quesadilla was loaded with steak. Only downside was the shredded beef taco. Flavor was lacking.

I’m having a hard time rating it because the first experience at the North Shore location was absolutely wonderful. It was so good. I couldn’t wait to take some to my mom who lives closer to the Harden Valley location so I went there and it was almost inedible !the steak was so overcooked. It was almost as hard as plastic and I guess luckily there was hardly any of it on the burrito, but my stomach feels like a load of bricks.
Is it the difference in location? It was literally looked like week old steak that was now hardened into plastic. Anyway, I’m not gonna give up. I will probably go back to North Shore but I’ll definitely never go back to Harden Valley. I hope that was just a one time weird experience.

Was suprised by how good the tacos were. The carnitas street tacos were juicy and fresh, the pastor had pineapple and the asada had that grilled taste to it. Salsa bar was cool (no hot carrots like o the west coast though which sucks). Nice staff and clean environment. We will be back

Regularly eat here during lunch. Good and service is great. Although priced fair, I think it is more expensive than others that are similar and food portions are smaller. It is still very good and we enjoy it.

Have been talking about going here for a while, finally decided to go last night. Had a huge line, which made me excited to try! Wait wasn’t more than about 10 mins. We ordered, got food in a timely manner. They have definitely outgrown this space, it felt somewhat crowded. I had the chilaquiles , which were decent, but the fajitas my wife received were very disappointing. They meats had no char on them, and the vegetables were not cooked all the way. Food was more greasy than I would have preferred. Probably won’t frequent this establishment very often to be honest, even though I had very high hopes for it.

Been coming here for years.
The food and portions are large, good and authentic.
Unfortunately, the one thing that is disappointing is some of the waitstaff. One gentleman in particular ALWAYS screws up my order, ALWAYS. At this point, I think he does it on purpose. He doesn’t seem to like certain patrons.
I try to avoid being seated in his area but seems I always end up getting him.
So, even though I really like the food and atmosphere I have stopped going because I am tired of the bad service!
