We are avid Taco eaters and were happy to find a Taco place with great reviews.
However, our experience was not that great!
We are party of 4, ordered 4 different Tacos, all were just OK, my husband order was very salty.
We have an early dinner so the small taqueria was empty with no customer and two persons working there. They both were very nice, super friendly.
I am not sure we will be back and will be in search for a “Go-To” taqueria in the Triangle.

Great place in a little plaza adjacent to a business park. The staff behind the counter were friendly and helpful. The two tacos were a little on the pricey side, but upon receiving them they were worth the price in the pile of chicken alone. It helped that the tacos had double tortillas, so with a bit of finesse it really was four good sized tacos. The taste was great, nothing too overpowering and everything meshed together well to add to the whole. This place is definitely worth a visit.

I constantly talk about street tacos I watched a local in Honduras and in Guadalajara make for me on the street. These surpass those. Seriously go here and get your taco fix.
He kindly combined the brisket with chorizo and it was fire!!! Chicken was amazing as well.

We had all three varieties of tacos – pollo, beef, and sweet potato – they were all INSANE! The chorizo beans were also delicious. Two tacos is enough to fill you up – but save room for chocolate covered strawberries. We also had the cucumber mint and spicy habanero margaritas – sooo refreshing and plenty strong! This will be a regular stop for us!

I have never left a restaurant review before, but I felt compelled with this place. The tacos here are the best I have had on the east and west coast. I have tried everything on the menu at least once and it has all been amazing. These are not your average sized street tacos. They are huge and absolutely loaded with a variety of delicious meats. I highly recommend trying the suadero and definitely use the salsas. The staff are super friendly as well. I can’t recommend this place enough. Pro tip, put a little of the habanero salsa in the beans you get with your order, dynamite.

La Taqueria absolutely rocks. After eating here multiple times, I am certain these are some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Definitely the best you can find in the Triangle! The flavors are incredible – no gimmicks or extra sauce needed. Pro Tip – the pickled red onions are absolute fire. Do yourself a favor: hit up Boxyard for some live music, grab a beer, a couple amazing tacos by Katsuji, and enjoy!

Enjoying this beautiful city while on vacation and stopped by BoxYard RTP(what a neat concept) and had a delicious lunch at La Taqueria. Upon entering, I was completely blown away by the beautiful mural that was displayed, truly breathtaking! The entire staff were super friendly, and helpful while we decided on which tacos to choose from. My husband and I both opted for the beef and Norte Carolina Sweet Potato and my goodness they were huge and absolutely delicious! Truly, do not overlook the sweet potato taco, it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Had a good bite to them, not mushy at all, and perfectly matched with their pickled onions and pepitas on top. The beef taco was incredibly tender and packed with so much flavor, paired with raw onions and cilantro…perfect harmony. Definitely some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten!

Really some phenomenal tacos in this general area. Exactly the vibe you want for the boxyard or an outdoor day to eat on the patio. Cocktails were also refreshing and really enjoyable. Happy to return many times in the future.
