This restaurant is a rare find—we truly felt like we were welcomed into the family! My friend and I came here during a work trip to Orlando, and the experience exceeded all expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff and the owning family are wonderful, warm people who guided us through the authentic menu and offered spot-on suggestions for our Moroccan wine.
The food is sensational. I cannot stress this enough: you HAVE to try the Muhammara and Hummus; they are the perfect way to begin. We also shared two different savory clay pot dishes that were absolutely delicious—tender, perfectly spiced, and incredibly satisfying.
As full as you are at the end, you simply can’t leave without ordering the baklava. Seriously, don’t live with that regret! This place is an absolute must-try when you’re in Orlando for an authentic meal and truly amazing service.
Orlando Arabian nights restaurant math is fascinating. First, they dumped the full 15% sales tax on the consumer (this is Florida — we know how taxes work, should’ve been 7% as everywhere else). Then came a $12 gratuity on a $66 bill, and on top of that, they suggest a minimum 18% tip calculated on the already inflated total. Impressive layering !
We were there with kids, couldn’t, didn’t want (and weren’t allowed anyway because of children to) stay for the dancing show — which might explain the gratuity, except they knew we couldn’t see it anyway.
None of these upcharges were disclosed beforehand. They just quietly appeared on the bill.
Lucky we weren’t that hungry to begin with. Would’ve spent a fortune.
Food wasn’t bad or good. Standard from what had
Service a little slow and lying much attention when trying to call them over
I traveled from New Jersey to Orlando to marry the love of my life, and after the ceremony, our families gathered at The Emerald to celebrate together. What we experienced wasn’t just a meal. It was warmth, care, and connection served with every plate.
The food? Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The kind that reminds you why good meals are meant to be shared. Our families came from all over the States, and every single person left smiling, full, and impressed. That alone says everything.
But what truly stood out was the people. The staff attended to us with genuine kindness and attention. Not robotic hospitality, but real human care. Every request was met with patience and a smile. They even made sure my young nephew had his own chicken and fries, which meant a lot to his parents (and to me).
In moments like these where love, family, and celebration meet, you realize food is just one part of the experience. It’s the atmosphere, the people, and the heart behind the service that make it unforgettable.
The Emerald didn’t just host our family. They became part of our story. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking not only for great food, but for an experience that reminds you what hospitality truly means.
