Excellent waterfront restaurant with an interesting, active view. Watching boats travel into the river as the drawbridge raises is exciting. Pepper Joe’s offers a wide variety of delicious food for all taste buds!

Pepper Joe’s knocked it out of the park. The atmosphere right on the water, the service awesome and the food was exceptional. We had the Pickle Nuggs, Cheyenne Burger and Sweet and Sour Chicken Strips and all was done perfectly. Lisa did an awesome job as our server! If we are back in the area Pepper Joe’s will be on our list.

Food was great, quick to prepare (I did a pickup order as I was at work) when I came in to grab my order, Lisa was able to assist me and cashed me out. We talked for a while she is very kind and personable.
I will definitely be ordering again as it was nice to have a conversation when picking up my order, and the food was very good (I ordered the Coconut Chicken Strips)

Great food. Service with a smile, and plenty to choose from on the menu. The food portions are large. I like how you can sit inside, or sit outside on the deck alongside the river in the warmer months. The bar has lots of room for a nice sit down.

Great place for a lunch date ! The young lady, who was our waitress, had a great attitude, great suggestions & was prompt taking care of us. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was amazing! Also ordered the cheeseburger with a fried egg on top & the bacon cheeseburger soup. The burger was delicious! The soup was yummy, but the reason I’m giving 4/5 stars is that the cheeseburger soup was extremely salty. I’d make it 4.5/5 stars if I could. Definitely recommend & will be back!

My family and I have started coming here yearly when we have family in town over the summer. The atmosphere is wonderful. We sit outside and enjoy the sun, the boats and the bridge! Service this year wasn’t great. Food wasn’t great either. I’m sure we’ll go again next summer because the location and atmosphere are exactly what we’re looking for. We just know what to expect.

A delightful evening at Pepper Joes. Great food, inexpensive drinks (we’re from Chicago) and an amazing service from “knee brace”. Our food was tasty and “knee brace” helped us decide on the huge selection. She made recommendations on our sides and salads (no balsamic) and was bubbly and vivacious. “Knee brace” could take a joke and dish one back faster than the food. The bus boy was almost as funny and overall made the night good fun. If I’m ever back in Saint Clair I’ll make sure to drop into Pepper Joes.

Relaxing atmosphere. We sat outdoors on the deck. Up close view of all of the boats going by on the river. Our waitress Emma was very pleasant and made great suggestions for lunch. If you are looking for a spot to just relax and enjoy a drink and a great meal outdoors, Pepper Joes is a good choice! Order the Michigan Cherry Margarita and the Perch Sando, or one of their burgers and a Guinness…you will be glad you did!!
