We started with the Pot Stickers — pan-fried pork dumplings with a ginger & peanut vinaigrette dipping sauce. The sauce was so good and the dumplings were cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Curried Croquettes, golden fried with a potato-crusted curried potato mix and a side of creamy tonkatsu sauce… these were seriously delicious.
My husband got the Drunken Noodles (thick rice noodles with spicy chili sauce, onion, bell pepper, carrot, green bean, Thai basil, and bean sprouts). This is one of his favorite dishes and he was really impressed with how good they were.
I got the Thai Chicken Schnitzel — golden fried chicken breast with ginger and garlic infused rice, cilantro, and sweet & sour sauce. The rice is to die for. The chicken was extremely thin for a schnitzel (maybe that’s just the Thai style), and it no longer comes with the cucumber soup, but the flavors were still really good and tasty.
All around everything was delicious, and we will definitely be back to try so many more items that sounded amazing.
We were ready to order food when our drink order was taken, but the waiter never asked. We figured no big deal & that he’d be back soon. Fifteen minutes later, someone else brought out the two lattes we ordered & then took off. After being seated for 20 minutes, I flagged down our waiter to let him know we were ready to order (again, super weird as the restaurant had two waiters working ten tables max the entire time we were there). Waiter took our order but never once offered to refill our water the entire hour we were there (nor did he ever take our menus. I placed them on the table next to us & they were still there when we left).
Food came out within a reasonable amount of time. We ordered pancakes & eggs Benedict. Food was decent but not amazing (I found it to be bland) & was reasonably priced. We were looking for a new regular go-to place, but sadly will probably not be back based strictly on the poor service.
From the ambience to the food it was top notch. The Japanese pancakes are light and fluffy so theyre not overly filling. I also got thd coconut affogato and it might be the best ive had yet.
My brother got the pad Thai (Thai level spice) and if you like SPICE thats the dish for ya.
We split the shrimp spring roll and fried tofu. The spring roll wrapping was kinda rubbery but the filling and peanut dipping sauce was so delicious. The fried tofu was perfectly golden crispy and the sweet & sour sauce was different than any I’ve had before.
Lastly the key lime pie was the cherry ontop, the mousse was super fluffy and creamy. The graham cracker crust didn’t crumble like most.
Ill definitely be back for more their desserts and those pancakes
Edi 1: everything was great again! The fried lotus is delicious and the mini coconut cake is heavenly. The cake is super light, the whip cream they use is light and fluffy.
Will be back for the new truffle dishes!
Shrimp Spring Roll (4.5/5) – Two large pieces packed with vegetables. They pair perfectly with the peanut sauce, though the wrapper was slightly dry.
Chicken and Rice Soup (5/5) – The perfect portion served in a cup. Very authentic Khao Tom that reminded me of home. The spice level was just right—flavorful without being painfully spicy.
Garlic Fried Rice with Crispy Chicken (5/5) – A great portion and an excellent combination of crispy chicken and fragrant garlic rice, served with a small salad and chicken dipping sauce. Despite the ground chili, it wasn’t spicy at all, which I loved. Khao Man Gai Tod, done really well.
Thai Basil Stir-Fry Beef (4/5) – A generous portion with lots of vegetables. The flavor was good, though slightly on the salty side.
Strawberry Shortcake with Chocolate Topping (5/5) – Extremely soft, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portion was just right. All of their cakes look amazing—we’ll definitely be back to try more.
Update – Probably our 5th time here and really love it. We had Lemongrass grilled short rib and it was really good. I love their Blueberry cheesecake the most and got some to go home every time. Love this place. Sad, we had to move.
