White Lotus Cafe in Colorado Springs review – Facebook

Bookmarked for when I’m in the area. Food looks great, especially those drunken noodles.

Went to White Lotus Cafe today for lunch and the inside is so beautiful. As soon as we walked in it felt cozy and welcoming. Seating was comfortable and the service was great from start to finish.

We started with the Pot Stickers — pan-fried pork dumplings with a ginger & peanut vinaigrette dipping sauce. The sauce was so good and the dumplings were cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Curried Croquettes, golden fried with a potato-crusted curried potato mix and a side of creamy tonkatsu sauce… these were seriously delicious.

My husband got the Drunken Noodles (thick rice noodles with spicy chili sauce, onion, bell pepper, carrot, green bean, Thai basil, and bean sprouts). This is one of his favorite dishes and he was really impressed with how good they were.

I got the Thai Chicken Schnitzel — golden fried chicken breast with ginger and garlic infused rice, cilantro, and sweet & sour sauce. The rice is to die for. The chicken was extremely thin for a schnitzel (maybe that’s just the Thai style), and it no longer comes with the cucumber soup, but the flavors were still really good and tasty.

All around everything was delicious, and we will definitely be back to try so many more items that sounded amazing.

We went on a Saturday for brunch and our waitress was so kind and the service from all of the staff was terrific. We had 3 young children and we all had a great experience. The food was wonderful and I can’t wait to try new items the next time we go! Would highly recommend.

The food was amazing! The coffee and service were meh. We were seated immediately and they took our order quickly, but after we got our food we were never checked on. We ran out of water and did not get to order desert even though my husband wanted to try the affogato and mini cheesecake because who wouldn’t? The most disappointing part for me was the mocha. For a place that has nice espresso machines and café in the name, I had high expectations. But the iced mocha was hot. Most of the ice melted by the time it reached our table, which having been a barista myself, tells me they probably accidentally made it hot first, then just poured it over ice. My husband ended up drinking it cuz it was “fine.” Not a terrible experience, but I’d say it was slightly annoying. To be totally honest, the food was quite exceptional, so we will probably try this place again.

We came for brunch (11am on a Saturday). It was our first visit & since it was Valentine’s Day, we made sure to make reservations. We were surprised when we arrived, that there were only six other tables in the whole place (which is beautifully decorated btw). We had to wait a little bit for someone to acknowledge us (which seemed odd as the place was half empty), but we were seated fairly promptly. Our drink order was taken right away & after that, things went downhill.

We were ready to order food when our drink order was taken, but the waiter never asked. We figured no big deal & that he’d be back soon. Fifteen minutes later, someone else brought out the two lattes we ordered & then took off. After being seated for 20 minutes, I flagged down our waiter to let him know we were ready to order (again, super weird as the restaurant had two waiters working ten tables max the entire time we were there). Waiter took our order but never once offered to refill our water the entire hour we were there (nor did he ever take our menus. I placed them on the table next to us & they were still there when we left).

Food came out within a reasonable amount of time. We ordered pancakes & eggs Benedict. Food was decent but not amazing (I found it to be bland) & was reasonably priced. We were looking for a new regular go-to place, but sadly will probably not be back based strictly on the poor service.

Wonderful new local asian cafe from the owners of some of the best Thai restaurants in town. The ambiance, service and good were everything you want in a dining experience. The chairs are super comfy and they have one side thats bar height and one side thats dining/family friendly height. A big table if youre looking for a group outing as well as smaller 2 and 4 tops for a more intimate outing. They also have a couple of patios for when the weather is nice and are experimenting with possibility of doing a brunch buffet in Sundays. The baked desserts were amazing and rotate to keep things fresh. All in all this is moving to the top of our list.

First of all, the view of the mountains is ahmazing!
From the ambience to the food it was top notch. The Japanese pancakes are light and fluffy so theyre not overly filling. I also got thd coconut affogato and it might be the best ive had yet.
My brother got the pad Thai (Thai level spice) and if you like SPICE thats the dish for ya.
We split the shrimp spring roll and fried tofu. The spring roll wrapping was kinda rubbery but the filling and peanut dipping sauce was so delicious. The fried tofu was perfectly golden crispy and the sweet & sour sauce was different than any I’ve had before.
Lastly the key lime pie was the cherry ontop, the mousse was super fluffy and creamy. The graham cracker crust didn’t crumble like most.
Ill definitely be back for more their desserts and those pancakes

Edi 1: everything was great again! The fried lotus is delicious and the mini coconut cake is heavenly. The cake is super light, the whip cream they use is light and fluffy.
Will be back for the new truffle dishes!

We were so impressed with this new restaurant. First, the atmosphere is very well done. The place is elegant and sophisticated. The food was amazing. The entrees were perfect, and the delicious dessert was made in house with ingredients imported from Thailand. We even met the owner who was very kind and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

We saw their postcard in our mailbox that morning and ended up going there for dinner the same day. The food here is really good, listed in our top three Thai place in COS. My husband even said it’s the best restaurant in town so far. As I’m Thai can confirm this place is very authentic, and their unique fusion dishes add great character to the menu. I only managed to take a photo of the cake because we were pretty hungry and I forgot, but definitely will be coming back giving more review. The food doesn’t take long at all. Service is super great, atmosphere is great very nice decoration.
Shrimp Spring Roll (4.5/5) – Two large pieces packed with vegetables. They pair perfectly with the peanut sauce, though the wrapper was slightly dry.
Chicken and Rice Soup (5/5) – The perfect portion served in a cup. Very authentic Khao Tom that reminded me of home. The spice level was just right—flavorful without being painfully spicy.
Garlic Fried Rice with Crispy Chicken (5/5) – A great portion and an excellent combination of crispy chicken and fragrant garlic rice, served with a small salad and chicken dipping sauce. Despite the ground chili, it wasn’t spicy at all, which I loved. Khao Man Gai Tod, done really well.
Thai Basil Stir-Fry Beef (4/5) – A generous portion with lots of vegetables. The flavor was good, though slightly on the salty side.
Strawberry Shortcake with Chocolate Topping (5/5) – Extremely soft, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portion was just right. All of their cakes look amazing—we’ll definitely be back to try more.
Update – Probably our 5th time here and really love it. We had Lemongrass grilled short rib and it was really good. I love their Blueberry cheesecake the most and got some to go home every time. Love this place. Sad, we had to move.
