So Dozen is my favorite bakery but now Perenn is also my favorite bakery. I love that they offer completely different experiences, vibes, and styles but they don’t skimp of quality. I had the marzipan latte, vanilla kouign amman, and fish & eggs. It was a great portion size, quality, presentation. I had recently bought some stollen as well (which is 10x better than anything I’ve had before), and have had the cranberry Brie danish. It’s all very good and solid. Grateful this is in this location.

Perenn Bakery absolutely lived up to the hype. We stopped in for coffee and pastries—coffee was good, but the pastries were next level.

We tried the prosciutto and Gruyère cheese croissant, which was solid, but what really stood out was the bread itself: incredibly flavorful with a perfect texture—flaky, light, and clearly made with care. The real showstopper, though, was the jam and cream cheese pastry (The Daily Danish). Hands down one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. Insanely delicious, perfectly balanced, and the texture was flawless. I honestly still think about it and can’t wait to go back to try more.

The experience was just as great as the food. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming—we were greeted immediately when we walked in. The space itself is super cute with a warm, cozy, and beautiful vibe that makes you want to linger.

We’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I love a good bakery and Perenn is a very good bakery.

The first thing you notice when walking in is the delicious selection of baked goods to choose from. We had the fig Danish, Kouign-amann, and pain suess.

All of them were exceptional, with excellent flaky lamination and flavor. The danish was my personal favorite, as I’m a sucker for a good danish.

Love this place! The breads and pastries are AMAZING. The croissants are beautiful and their dark roast espresso is rich and chocolaty. The upstairs seating is cozy and comfortable. The perfect place for a quiet hang.

We went to the Berry Hill location. We ordered the Seasonal Cloud Americano. This had whipped espresso and coconut. Surprisingly it was REALLY good 10/10. The Cold Brew had good flavor 7/10. The twice baked caramel apple croissant was delicious 8/10. The vanilla Creme Brulee pastry was delicious 10/10.
Definitely will return.

This is the second location of Perenn in the Nashville area (the first is in Franklin). This location does not have the table service like the Franklin one does – this is counter style.

The aesthetic of this one is still so great. The space is beautiful and while I don’t know what it was before, it is really just lovely. There are a few tables out front, and there is both upstairs and downstairs seating. Place your pastry order, and they’ll box them up for you, then place any other hot food/drinks order and pay. There’s also a cooler with some sandwiches and other goodies you’ll want to check out!

For the best part: please get the almond croissant. This is my favorite pastry in all of the land. I have tried them in many, many places. In fact, whenever I travel (and I do so frequently), this is the one pastry I research and go out of my way to get.

Perenn has nearly perfected it. This one was so freaking good. And it’s huge.

The staff is great. The almond croissant is nearly perfect. Yes, it’s a bit expensive. But the ingredients are solid. The space is gorgeously aesthetic. The staff is fantastic. Sometimes, you get what you pay for. How lucky we are to have Perenn here.

Wife went there for lunch and said it was ok. Came home with a loaf of bread. It was hard as a rock. She took it back and was told that’s the way they are. She should splash water on it and bake it for a while. NEVER heard of this, but do know that is a remedy for stale bread. We tried that and still very hard. Very disappointed. We had gone there when they first opened and thought it was very good. Bread we had brought home then was excellent. Not sure what happened.

Our nieces took us here for lunch, they always wanted to try it out se here we went.

1. Salmon niçoise salad: 4/5 – very fresh and tasty, salmon was well seasoned but tiny portion and very thin…

2. Buttery croissant: 5/5 – very buttery, flaky and crispy. Very rich and yummy.

3. Baguettes: 3/5 – too hearty and hardy even after reheated. The crust was so hard that could break your teeth. Good flavor.

The atmosphere is SO cute! The self serve water and drip coffee were a welcome feature. If you love pumpkin, definitely grab their pumpkin kouign amann. It’s like a cinnamon sugar dusted croissant and filled with pumpkin pie. The pumpkin seeds were perfect so to it!
