We loved it! The food was great, Jessie was just a ray of sunshine, the history of the building!! All just first rate!! Then you get a bill that is priced very gently. We’ll definitely be back, we’ll be recommending and we’ll be bringing friends and family.

What a treat to stop for lunch at the Moco Restaurant located in historic Union in logging country West Virginia off of scenic route 219. Terrific, welcoming and inclusive restaurant making and serving food with so much love. Try the Aubrey Baby Bakers if you bring your appetite! So good and original!!

I definitely didn’t look like a local but waitress, Jessie, was so kind!
I asked for recommendations and she happily obliged. If you want cooking like back home, this is the place!
Also, so relaxed that they put the whole carton of creamer (new) for you to use!

My big sticking point here was that the kitchen was very slow. The staff was so so nice and friendly though. We didn’t really know what to do when we walked in, we were kinda just standing there a while before we got their attention and were like “so we just sit anywhere?”. I thought the food was decent. Might try another place in Union before I come back.

We ate at MOCO Diner after hiking up to Hanging Rock. We came across the lovely town of Union looking for a place to eat and decided on the diner. Jess, our server, was incredibly welcoming. The wait for the food was short and it came out hot and delicious. We will definitely be back upon our next trip to Union soon! Hint: the hotdogs, fully loaded, are delicious!

Very good place to eat. I grew up in Union and remember this place used to be Tom Bone’s store… back in the 70s. Nostalgic! Food was great. We sat on the patio which is kinda noisy but, not their fault 219 is practically on the door step. Will definately go back when I’m “back home” again.

Nice little mom and pop style place. Food was good. Staff was friendly. Generous portion sizes. My only complaint is that the macaroni and cheese was the boxed, powdered cheese kind. I don’t think I’ve ever been served that at a restaurant. Maybe they ran out and were improvising? Idk. I would rather be told they were out though. Lol. Good burgers and everything else though!

We had a large group and were greeted and seated promptly by a friendly waitress. Drinks and menus arrived quickly. Orders were filled quickly. I had the turkey, bacon, ranch wrap and was very pleased with it. Absolutely no complaints and would happily eat here again.

Best homemade biscuits I’ve ever had. Breakfast was scrumptious and the service delightful. I cannot wait to return and get some of the homemade gravy and try another menu items. Highly recommend!
