Pho Sydney serves really solid Vietnamese comfort food with rich broth and fresh ingredients. The pho has great depth of flavor, and the portion size is satisfying. The space is clean, the service is quick, and everything tastes freshly prepared.

The only downside is the price — it’s definitely on the more expensive side compared to other pho spots. Still, the quality is good enough that I’d come back when I’m craving a well-made bowl of pho.

Chocking hazard! Came to Atlantic City for a concert and tried this pho place — the only one in town. Both our bowls had long pieces of beef tendon. While eating, my boyfriend suddenly choked on one — started gasping for air, coughing, crying, and even ran to the bathroom trying to breathe. I told the staff someone was choking. They only coldly pointed to the restroom and would not check on him; only when I insisted did they call 911. After nearly five minutes, he finally dislodged the tendon and spat out blood — obviously scratched his throat badly. He could breathe again, but was a mess — tears, runny nose, blood. Still no concern from the staff. When we decided to leave, the staff asked us to pay despite the incident. The owner finally waived the charge for his bowl, charged me for mine. The meat mostly raw, broth discolored(very brown after the beef blood got cooked in the soup) — and terrible service. I will never return. Beware if you come here.

The only decent pho on the Atlantic City strip. I got the Bun Rieu this time and the soup flavor is on the blander side. They give you shrimp paste on the side to add extra flavor. The noodles tasted like it just came out of the boiling water. The fried spring rolls were are the smaller size in terms of filings. The iced coffee is strong and only redeemable factor. Overall, the only option in town so go to for pho.

I recently visited Sydney Pho and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was decent—while not the best pho I’ve had, it was satisfying.

One standout feature is their pet-friendly policy. They kindly allowed me to bring in my Yorkshire Terrier, which is a rare and much-appreciated gesture. It made dining there even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a casual spot with good service and the added perk of being able to bring your furry friend along, Sydney Pho is worth a visit.

Came here on a weekend & I have completely underestimated the popularity of this restaurant. The line was so long and we waited close to an hour and half just to get a table to sit down. You know this place is authentic when you see a whole bunch of Vietnamese lining up waiting to be seated.

The vibe of the restaurant is like an open space cafeteria with some large tables & cheap chairs . BUT … the flavor of the food was so good and authentic. And price is RIGHT

Street parking only.

Highly recommend to check out this place if you like Vietnamese cuisine and happen to visit Atlantic City. ©️WineDinenVacay

Authentic Vietnamese spot. Ca kho to was delicious caramelized cat fish. The cat fish was so white and fluffy. So good with white rice. Salted squid was delicious too but a little chewy.

The bun thit nuong was pretty good, but the pork chop is where it is at (and Ca kho to too)!! Perfectly flavored

Food was very good but sad they didn’t have the summer roll . I think they are very understaffed, we waited a long time to be seated because they didn’t have enough staff the clear the multiple empty tables. Once seated they also told us we had to wait 10 mins before they could take our order . Thankfully we didn’t wait the entire 10 mins. Once Oder was taken we didn’t wait too long for the food to come out. It was one of the better phos I have had in the NY/NJ area.

Went on a Sunday for lunch. The place was pretty busy but the food came out relatively quick. There’s a parking lot next to the restaurant which makes is accessible and not have to go look for street parking.
We order the spring roll. The presentation was a bit lacking but the flavors was good. I had the pork chop with quiche, pork skin and fried egg. The portion is a good size for the price they charge. The pork chop was well seasoned and the egg quiche was ok. I wish the fried egg would be left sunny side up so I can break the yoke and mix with the rice to add flavor to the rice. The pork skin was a bit lacking flavor. Overall the food was good. I would come back if I’m in the area and craving for Vietnamese food.

Food was really good, in my opinion a hidden gem in Atlantic City. The Pho was really good, broth was amazing . The grilled chicken over rice is delicious. Highly recommend trying both dishes. The only down side is the service wasn’t the best, they’ll serve you your food and that’s the last you’ll see the staff. The decor is extremely outdated but the food makes up for it. Pricing is very reasonable. Definitely a must try when in Atlantic City.

Came here around 8:30pm. Not too crowded. Service was quick. Took our order and got our food within 10 minutes. My wife and I had the pho, and my son had grilled pork chop. Food was good.
