Lovely restaurant in downtown DC with an elevated sports bar type feel. The food and service was amazing The menu wasn’t too big but offered some great selections to choose from. The guacamole was on point!!! The overall feel of the restaurant was cozy and chill so we really enjoyed our visit.
The only odd thing here is the women’s restroom. Every single toilet was backed up and none would flush. It was annoying to drink a large beer and not be able to use the restroom because the bathroom was a mess Other ladies in there were just as confused as I was because none of the toilets had a flusher or sensor. I’m not sure if the men’s had issues too, but the women’s side was bad.

Fantastic service, amazing whiskey selection, Bar tenders and service staff on their absolute BEST game! Couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The food is fantastic, we had the cheeseburger sliders and hot chicken sliders. Food came out at an appropriate time with an atmosphere that is unmatched. WILL definitely be coming back and recommended ingredients to our friends, family, amd hopefully readers of this review. Thank you Sam and Eva for raking extraordinary care of us! ❤️

What a great pub with an awesome patio area. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, the service was friendly and attentive, and it’s the perfect spot to relax with good food and drinks. We really enjoyed the vibe and will definitely be back.

The Admiral in Dupont Circle is one of the best places to host a happy hour in DC. My organization has used them several times now. Booking an event is as simple as writing an email with the dates and times. You can do everything from full catering to everybody pays their own way. The food quality is consistently good. And Wednesday nights in particular are great with happy hour pricing all evening. I’d highly recommend stopping out!

We had our birthday celebration at Admiral and it was the best time! We had our private space, television access and a dedicated bartender. The music was great too! Mackenzie was super accommodating to our request of moving up the time due to the snow storm.
Would highly recommend this venue for anyone who wants to host an event there!

Excellent place to bring a group of friends. Staff is friendly and the space has a great vibe. It was happy hour when my group finished our rounds at a few art galleries nearby. Katie and Kat were great at serving us. I 100% would recommend you have an event or enjoy happy hour at The Admiral as soon as you can!

I hosted a holiday happy hour here for a local Facebook group and it was a great time! The bartenders were very attentive and reserved a space for our group at the bar. Communication setting up the event over email was also very easy and straightforward. Will definitely be hosting events here in the future

Amazing experience at The Admiral! The ambiance is vibrant, and our server Amanda was fantastic—attentive and friendly.
Food Review:
1. French Toast Sandwich: Perfect mix of sweet and savory, with crispy roasted potatoes.
2. Chicken Sandwich with Caesar Salad: Crispy, juicy chicken and fresh salad with crunchy croutons.
3. Chicken Sandwich with Fries: Consistently good with flavorful fries.
Bottomless mimosas were a hit. Highly recommend The Admiral for great food and service. We’ll be back!

We hosted a Happy Hour for DC Asia Policy and wanted to say, it’s always been a pleasure working with the Admiral events team. We were originally booked for the outdoor patio, but they were able to situate us indoors. The staff was really friendly, and the happy hour deals are great as well. I’d highly recommend hosting here if you’re looking for a free place to host your Happy Hours at in DC. We were able to reserve the space for free, and just indicate that everyone would be on their own tab. They even had a sign indicating where our group was! Thank you Mackenzie for helping coordinate us here.

The Admiral is a fun and casual place to enjoy food, drinks, post work happy hours, and even work happy hours.
Their events team is great and they’re responsive and helpful, making planning super easy. It’s easy to reserve the spaces for no fees/minimums and there’s very minimal paperwork. Highly recommend! Giving five stars here for this review because it’s a mainstay for me and because their team is great.
The sidebar was available last minute, which was great, but it’s also the most awkward one due to its placement near the kitchen doors and between two dining areas (don’t recommend vs other options if they’re available). The outdoor patio in nice weather is fabulous. Their food is great quality bar food/pub vibe food. I rarely give food five stars (just to caveat).
