The food is awesome and affordable . But if your looking to dine in or sit and have your meal ( unless you enjoy eating in your car) that don’t have a very good seating area. Service also takes forever you’ll starve to death before you get to eat.

I stumbled across Monceaux’s on the internet and remembered eating the crab burgers frequently in the 70’s at the original location. I wanted to see if they were like I remembered. It didn’t have as much flavor as I remembered, but it was good as most crab burgers go…but the onion rings! The onion rings were outstanding! The fries were great too, hot and crisp. The crab burger basket was $8.50 and had plenty of food. I would go back.

The burger had good flavor to it and the fries were fresh, the onion rings were overcooked though. The service was fast and friendly. The place could use a make over though. Seemed a little dirty and they didn’t have any new updated menus with prices on them. All in all wasn’t crazy about it.

Great quick bite. A throwback to the old days growing up in Port Arthur. The original location was on Gulway Drive next to St. James Church. It was a fast food staple when I was a teenager in the late 80’s.

I actually went to the central mall location a couple times never went to the main location. The food is always fresh to order. Very tasty. Love the stuffed shrimp and fish onion rings are great and for some reason this is the only restaurant that I eat their tartar sauce I’m not a fan of tartar but if it looks good eat it and it just looks and taste good so cuddos to them

This place was amazing! With everything going on they made it accessible by utilizing curbside service. The girl who took our order was very polite and followed all the social distancing rules. The greatest thing was the food though! By far they make the best home made cheese sticks I have ever had! Definitely going to make this a regular spot for us.

I am so mad that I have never eaten at this place before! Holy cow their pork chops are amazing, a smidge overcooked, in their defense I showed up at 7:30 on a Tuesday night they close at 8:00. That aside the young lady with blue hair who waited on me was so sweet and so nice and the food is incredible. Definitely a must do if you’re in groves.

I use to order from here quite often in the 70’s, and always the crab burger. Today it was a disappointing experience! No crab all filler BUT the onion rings were superb! Will not order crab burger again but will definitely try something else with onion rings!
