Went here today with my cousin, who came into town from New Jersey at 2pm. It was both of our first time here!! The food was fresh, hot and delicious!! . Reasonable prices and friendly staff members. The place was very clean too!! I had fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, corn, dinner roll and sweet tea to drink. I love the fact that all meals comes with your choice of bread ( dinner roll or cornbread muffin) and a drink. If you are ever in the Newnan, GA area…please check them out!! So worth it! Come here frequently. The food is good. Certain individuals don’t appear to get along with some employees. Even with my own child, I’ve seen it a couple times. The woman didn’t offer me enough, so I sent my kid back to the counter to get a lid for the to-go cup. Instead of giving it to him, she dropped it on the counter and put it there for him to pick up. The same idea applies to people’s reluctance to give money to people of race. However, I go because the cuisine is good. This restaurant has been here for a long time. If you are looking for a southern meal, this is the place to stop by. Lunch time is the best time to come because (to me) you get more for your money. First visit. Impressive assortment of Southern cooking. Everything I tried was just like my grandmother made. Good chicken, good vegetables. My wife will definitely advocate to come back in the future. This is her kind of restaurant. I would highly recommend this location!

Visit here often. Food is decent. Some staff don’t seem as friendly with certain people. I’ve witnessed it a few times even with my own child. I sent my child back to the counter to get a lid for the to go cup because the lady didn’t give me enough and instead of her giving it to him in his hand she dropped it on the counter and pushed it on the counter for him to pick up. Same concept as people not wanting to put money in a person of color’s hand. But the food is decent which is why I go. I just don’t understand why they given so little portions with a child’s plate especially with the rice. They give as little rice as possible with a child’s plate. Most times I just get an adult plate for my child. I just left and watched the parent in front of me ask for some more rice cause it was barely any on the plate. I’m sure they charged her extra for it. Like put a decent portion on the kid plate please. At least a spoonful. And yes parents can go cook their own rice but if we are paying for it at least give a decent portion. Might be hard to tell from this pic but that is about a tablespoon of rice.
