The coffee here is great! I love cafe de holla. The food was just ok. There was hardly any cheese or cilantro on my chilaquiles. The sauce on the chilaquiles was good just a little too sour but that’s because of the tomatillos. All in all it was just meh.

Overall, this place is a hit. I will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. The mimosa flight was delicious. The Ribeye and Chilaquiles were 4/5; definitely enough to share if not super hungry. The Duck Confit Hash was 3/5; I was not expecting the white raisins in there. Churro Waffle was 5/5!

I tell you, this is the best breakfast that I ever had in any restaurant. Nothing was overcooked, big selection of the food. Fast serving, sweet staff, huge portions. Once again the food was perfect, made delicious. The only bad thing I can tell that I’m traveling and I don’t have this restaurant in my area and it makes me sad. I love you, guys!!!!

A mixed selection of breakfast and sandwiches / lunch. This place was very busy and some wait just a bit to get a table. The service was good. I had the grilled cheese with onions and I enjoyed it. My side selection was the quinoa salad.

The food was okay. I don’t usually have sweets for breakfast, but the peanut waffle was pretty good and not too sweet. The Lomo Saltado was a bit too salty, especially the fries. They got soggy really quickly. The Benny Sampler was alright, but the pork belly one was mostly fat. It would have been better if the pork belly was crispier to balance out the fattiness. There weren’t many coffee options, just hot or cold coffee with sugar and creamer. The server also forgot to put in one of our orders, so we had to wait a bit longer. Overall, it was just okay.

As the name suggests, you should be an early bird to avoid the wait time for this restaurant. Granted the food is well worth the wait. We ordered the brioche French toast and lomo saltado. Both dishes extremely flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The environment can be a tad loud, but it’s to be expected with such a popular brunch spot. Only other grip is the standard coffee/oj/hot chocolate seems a tad expensive at 4.50. Apart from that we can’t wait to come back to try various other dishes offered.

We went to Early Bird because we’ve heard the food is amazing! We had a couple of different dishes and the food was OK, I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and I was disappointed because it was a little soggy, I think it was sitting out for a while before it was brought to the table. My friend had a breakfast sandwich and it was a little hard to eat since it’s stacked with so many items. The best item we had was the Dutch waffle. As for the service it wasn’t great we kept having to wave down our server as he never came by to check in..

The food was delicious! I’m a pescatarian so I need a variety of options, healthy ones preferred. The staff was very welcoming on a very busy, raining Tuesday morning. The restaurant was clean, staff immediately and kindly greeted us. The restrooms were clean as well, stocked with restroom tissue, drying towels, soap, toilet seat covers, and a clean floor. Ana, our waitress, Was very attentive, helpful and decision making, knowledgeable of products being sold, and multitasking without us feeling neglected. Thank you Ana for a wonderful first experience at early bird recommended by my family Gloria and Jessie Let’s go Fullerton
