Their ice cream is consistently delicious, and the hot fudge sundaes are a family favorite. We’ve been coming here for years, and the quality has always remained the same. Almost like stepping back in time to the soda shop. They always have a great standard selection of food, but their monthly specials add an excellent variety. If you are looking for some good ice cream Blue Bell is famous in Texas. We have also been pleased with the friendliness of the wait staff who always make sure you are taken care of.

Very disappointed in new procedure. I liked picking out my flavor and taking it outside to eat. They were out of several flavors and the opportunity to try other flavors was not possible since we were sitting outside . I was disappointed in the coffee fudge flavor. It used to have a great coffee flavor. Why change something that was great?

Ice Cream only on this first trip. Did not know that Scooples has Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and ICE CREAM!! We will be back for a good review next time.
Took the kids to get some ice cream after lunch. Stopped into Scrooples for some ice cream.
Atmosphere was a retro diner vibe. Booths, tables, or old school high top bar seats. Very nicely done.
Ice Cream: we got a variety of simple ice creams but all were delicious. From a simple vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and peanut butter, to a chocolate chip cookie dough w/ preoccupied cookie crumbles, to a Dutch chocolate with banana pieces, to cookies and cream. ALL were delicious, all were creamy. We will definitely return for more ice cream options the next time we are at Brownwood.
Staff: there were a ton of staff, all seemed to be helping one another out. More and more people came in but there was always staff there to take their order.
Overall a very nice ice cream option.
We will return again for lunch or breakfast. But of course, we will return again for some delicious ice cream. Stop in and try it. Worth the trip!

Scooples is the heart of brownwood in the Villages FL, from the bottom of my heart. I’m a frequent customer and no matter what day it is, how busy it is, this staff cannot be topped!! And it’s also an incredible establishment because they serve not only ice cream, but BLT’S TOO. As a BLT enthusiast, I can say they’ve almost perfected the art for only a few bucks. I’m in love!!!
