I was surprised to see someone cleaning windows when we pulled up to the restaurant. Who does that.
This was easy to find and access from the roadway. It was not to busy at the time we arrived.
Seating was quick and easy. The order was taken and food was delivered quickly.
Everything had good flavor and was served hot and fresh.
The waitress was polite and friendly.
There was something leaking from a vent in the bathroom. I suspect it was from the air-conditioning.

Food was made quick and fast! Waitress was extremely slow, waffle would not melt the butter we had to ask for and got the stink eye when we did ask. She would not place anything on the table. Held it above the napkin dispenser until I reached and got it. Stood at the next table, and asked very softly “yall okay?”. Food got cold while she slowly shuffled from the kitchen to our table. We usually have great service, but today was absolutely horrible.

Me and my fiance went there to eat tonight. The server was mainly paying attention to the teenagers at the booth. She only came over twice to check on us. She was carrying around a Bluetooth speaker hooked to her phone. She said the manager told her that they could do that since some customers couldn’t afford the jukebox. She turned it down and told the other customers that we were complaining. I had to walk over and let the cook give me my sausage and blueberry waffle since she was running her mouth. She said she’s only been there three weeks. The other customers finally left and a different customer came in and she ran her mouth saying that we were fussing about the music. I sent my fiance outside to Keep him from saying something. So I will contact corporate office about this. Then our bill was $31. For what cold sausage and a halfway cooked blueberry waffle.

I had a wonderful experience here recently. There have sadly been some times when I’ve been to a Waffle House, and felt that the overall experience was lacking. That was not the case here. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the food was excellent. Sadly I was just passing through the area at that time, but I know for a fact that when I’m in this area again, I would have no hesitation at all to come here again.

So this location – in Grenada, Mississippi. It’s very hit or miss with its customer service. The food is great if you can get any though.
I stop in fairly often, often I ask for biscuits and gravy – they never make the gravy for whatever reason, which is disappointing, unless the district manager stops in. He is friendly and has your food out fast..
I probably will not be back after this morning. I pulled in and waited ten to fifteen minutes in an empty store not realizing the employees were in their car. I shouted to see if anyone was there and even called. No answer.
It was only after I took out my phone and recorded this short clip that they came running into the store. Very rudely asking why I was recording, as if -I- had done something wrong for wanting service.
I was respectful and told them that I did it because I thought nobody was there and had called the location a couple of times while waiting inside.
The waitress then rudely asks “What do you want?” While the cook proceeds to mention that she wasn’t “sitting in the restaurant and waiting for customers at 4 am”
It was silent and awkward while waiting for them to finish my food – which I feel like I was over charged for out of spite. And honestly felt out-numbered and threatened while waiting.
I love Waffle House. It has been a favorite since I was very young, but I have never been to a location where no matter what time of day the service is slow and often rude regardless of if anyone else is in the store or not. Nor have I felt so cornered, threatened and unappreciated as I do here because I simply wanted service.
So, the ball is in your court. Please make this place the Waffle House we all knew and loved. Your employees have really run this location into the ground and I won’t be back there.

Hometown feel, super accommodating. Compliments on my outfit, my family, our way of life, and all that. They loved my newborn, especially when her grandpa (Poppy) was holding her so my husband and I could eat. Love love LOVE the willingness of the staff to go out of their way to make our brunch super enjoyable. Making sure everything was just perfect. Mylake and JT made our trip so much better. Y’all are the best. ❤
