Well I was a Lil concerned on the reviews but the grooming outside and the location looked very clean. Didn’t realize we were 25 min early. She didn’t even bat and eye. She sat us down and gave us the best service I’ve had in awhile anywhere. Driving from Denver Colorado to DC with the wife and we both needed a great meal. She never eats everything but this time we both had nothing left. Salsa was the only thing a Lil blah before salt and pepper. Thank you for this experience.

Pleasant experience all around! Stopped in for a ulquick bite to eat with the wife.
I got a chicken quesadilla and she got some salad bowel. We both loved it!
Service was fast and friendly. We had our food within 10 minutes of ordering and chips and salsa as soon as we sat down.
We’ll be stopping here on all of our trips!

We’re in from Texas and needed a fix. Of course we understand it’s going to be different, ok, but the first thing I noticed is that the tortillas aren’t made in house. The red sauce was ok, but meh. Green as well, which was 99 cents (note that restaurants in Texas bring both sauces to ur table free, though some u have to ask for green, but still no charge most of the time, and they let u know if there is a charge. Just more vinegar tasting than normal. The 4 enchilada plate on lunch didn’t come with rice and beans, which are $4 a side, each. I didn’t want red sauce on the enchiladas so subbed for queso for $1.50. The hubs got extra queso on his chimichanga, for another buck 50. A tea was $3.25. TEA!? So our basic deal was the food was just all right based on a Texas palate. The service was great. The server should absolutely let you know as you order, of additional charges. All in all, it was a Mexican fix, but pricing should be more clear and red sauce could be a lot better! js Will we go back, no, but it may be stellar if they made their own tortillas and fixed up the sauces…

We are so happy we found El Cantarito, right off I 70 Exit 41 West of Indianapolis. EXCELLENT food. VERY GF friendly, too! Huge menu and we loved all three of the platos Mexicanos we ordered. Tacos, tamales, guacamole, horchado. Todos ricos! Muchas gracias!

Best Mexican food by far!! Love the salsa. You really can’t go wrong eating here. It’s great food friendly staff. New location across from McDonald’s. Great for a business lunch, meal after the game or just anytime you feel like really good food.

Service was good & our waitress was friendly. Food was cheap and bland with small portions. i had a quesadilla and while the shell was good size, it was over cooked and the filling was lacking. Won’t go back.

After six and a half hours on the road, this was just what I needed. My steak burrito was delicious, and the service was great! Clean and well lit without feeling harsh or sterile. Great for families (I was the only weirdo eating alone heh). If I’m ever headed this way along I-70 again I’ll definitely be stopping by.

Took forever to get our food. They have young female CHILDREN between the ages of 6-10 serving chips and salsa and cleaning tables! My taco salad was next to cold. The bottom was soggy and there wasn’t nearly enough food to eat. LEAVING HUNGRY! The food was tasteless!
