There are many Mexican restaurants in Bellingham, but this one is our new favorite. Everything is so fresh, flavorful, while not overly greasy or too slathered with cheese and sour cream. The salsas alone were so good we asked to buy both their red and green salsas to take home. My wife and daughter who usually aren’t too keen on Mexican food here, loved the food, drinks, and desserts. The service was also excellent. We definitely plan on stopping here more regularly.

I am writing this review still sitting at my table because they ABSOLUTELY deserve 10☆☆!! The restaurant is amazingly clean, service was on top of it – without being bothersome. The best of all is their food!! The food was fresh, the meat was super tender, the produce!! WOW!!! I can see them outgrowing this location for a bigger one quickly!

The service was absolutely amazing and the restaurant was clean. I however was not a fan of the food. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.The carne asada was sorta tough and lacked flavor. The chicken enchilada was better with flavor.

Excellent little restaurant. Tables, to-go, very personable staff. I had the birria burrito, fantastic flavor, and huge portions. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their large menu. Rafael and his family made me feel very comfortable. I hope for much success in their venture.

The food was excellent, and the owner was very VERY nice. Service was awesome. The atmosphere was quaint and minimalistic, but more than acceptable. Very very clean restaurant. The prices are very reasonable!

I’ve never been to this place, but decided to give it a try because of the rating. Every single dish of food was DELICIOUS, and the favorite at the table was the birria, hands-down! The server was very kind, the largest tables seat 4 but she connected tables for us to seat 5, and the food timing was great while we munched on chips and salsa. Will definitely return to try more dishes! 🙂

I hope more people discover this place! Reliably delicious meals and friendly staff. Last time we were there, a family of grandparents, a parent and two kids spilled water all over the table and food, left the table and floor absolutely disgusting and had a really bad attitude about it all. The staff who helped them and cleaned up after them smiled and were super patient and polite the entire time. I don’t know if I would have been so patient. The food makes this place worth a regular rotation on our list!

I really wanted to love this place. Nicely decorated and super clean. The women running the place was welcoming and friendly. Ordered the Birra Beef burrito and was almost shocked on how it was served and presented. Small portions and no Birra sauce at all. It basically tasted like a super bland beef burrito but was charged almost 20$ (tax included) with no chips and salsa before hand either which I’ve never experienced at a US Mexican restaurant. My wife took one bite and ran into a hunk of gristle and spit it in her napkin. I ate it but it was out of pure hunger.
