This is a very special place. The soups are incredible. He just knows what he’s doing. I have tried a few and they are all remarkably delicious. The vegan versions like the ‚Immunity Soup‘ is my favorite… or the lentil? Hard to decide. Just today i had one of his ‚specials‘ – rotisserie chicken w mashed potatoes and fresh corn. The softest and tastiest chicken i had in a while. Also the cookies are very good. I seriously ❤️ this place!!! Try it!

Vegan Delight!!! So, I came across this quaint hole in the wall, “The Lunchbox.” The person serving me was Sean. He was great! As I’m eating healthier, I wanted something good to eat & healthy. They had a nice menu, so I chose the Veggie BLT & the Avocado & Tomato wraps.

I have been going to Lunchbox almost weekly since I started working across the street. I am a huge soup fan and every single one of Sean’s are absolutely amazing. As well his hummus wrap, chicken salad, jumbo tacos, hoagies etc are all FABULOUS. SLAY. Today I got Zuppa Toscana a kale and sausage soup and I didn’t know what to expect exactly lol besides those two and it is one of the best soups I’ve ever had.

If you have never been to the lunchbox, you are definitely missing out. I have been eating at this little gem every week for years now. The owner Sean, is just as much a delight as the food. I usually go for lunch for one of his amazing soups, chilis or gumbos, but tonight my husband and I went for dinner. We each got shrimp po boys. They were loaded with crispy shrimp, tangy coleslaw, tomato and an amazing chipotle sauce. Absolute perfection! I highly recommend!

Amazing food by a wonderful chef! Sean is a wonderful cook, creating a fresh vegetable soup made with ingredients from the farmer’s market as well as delicious sandwiches (try the Thai chicken!). Best meal in Kingston hands down!

The Lunchbox is a must eat in Kingston. Stopped here for a bite. Very fast service for one person cooking everything. Fresh and tasty! Cute little table and two chairs set up to sit on the sidewalk to eat. Would absolutely return. Recommended especially for cyclists who are riding the rail-trail!

A small shop with just one window and one man who absolutely nailed our large order, even getting the customs correct in a quick timeframe. The food was so fresh and delicious, and had a lot of vegetarian options. I would recommend stopping by to get a to go bite!
