Starbucks’ current CEO, Brian Niccol, was brought in to drive a turnaround, yet experiences like this suggest that those changes are not reaching the customer level. The emphasis on operational tweaks such as reduced menu options, while basic customer engagement is ignored, signals a focus on the wrong priorities for retaining business.
For clarity, this issue has already been reported through corporate channels. This review is shared for transparency and to inform other customers, not to solicit follow-up or customer service outreach.
I took my business to a nearby local donut shop instead. Lesson learned: avoid corporate chains that no longer prioritize service.

It’s a regular starbucks. Coffee choices as expected. Good service. They made the wrong matcha frappuchino but corrected the mistake right away. Comfortable interior with many sitting choices. Quiet, perfect if you like peace while you scroll on your phone and enjoy your drink. Overall, it was an enjotable experience.

My drink was prepared to perfection. I was promptly greeted upon arrival at the drive-thru and even was suggested a bakery item. I was asked if I wanted to redeem stars and I was thanked for my patronage and told to have a good day! Amazing experience!

We love stopping here when we’re in Sweetwater and have never had an issue before. However, today we ordered hot chai lattes through the drive-thru, and they were **extremely** hot—almost boiling. The young girl at the window even commented on how hot they were and added a sleeve, but even with the sleeve they were still very hot. I think extra caution should be taken, such as double-cupping, and customers should be clearly warned that the drinks are *very* hot to prevent anyone from getting burned.

Nice people yet unable to follow a simple order today. Asked for a “not warmed up pumpkin load”. The employee reiterated exactly what I ordered correctly, yet when receiving my order, the load was warmed up.

They don’t communicate or communicate as a team. I asked for two items and only received one went to the register to ask about the second item and the barista was rude and told me to wait. 20 minutes later I politely ask about the second item again. She blows me off again. She didn’t even ask the other team members for an update. Finally 25 minutes a different employee tells me the original barista did not put my order in.

I hope I pick the right Starbucks on Google because this one deserves a huge shout out just off I 20 it is worth the exit to hit. Is very early, and I have a crazy morning going on, and Ariana was so nice and patient with me, it made it a great stop. Highly recommend this location.

I was so glad when Starbucks opened here! I have always loved Starbucks…but was SO happy that Rebekah was hired here because she is incredible and was the main reason I used to buy my coffee from another place, but now Starbucks is definitely my go to! Rebekah always has a smile on her face and goes above and beyond for me. My 2 dogs love to go with me and are always so happy to have their pup cups. The atmosphere and service is incredible. Frankie is a fantastic manager and hired the best staff ever!
