Great food and a great vibe, I actually don’t think Ive been to a dedicated Hawaiian restaurant before so this was really nice!

Started with three of the Musubi. The Yellowtail was incredibly fresh with a touch of yuzu that was awesome. The Spicy Salmon was good but kinda standard. The Galbi was stellar, had a nice flavor to the meat and the kimchi delish.

Got the Mochiko Chicken Loco Moco. Lots of tastes that work so well together here from the gravy to the breading to the egg. I actually didn’t even realize this had a macaroni salad because I started eating from the rice side so the macaroni was a nice surprise and it was so good. If I had to give one critique though Id say that the breading did not stay on the chicken when you cut into it so it was hard to get both in one bite!

Also got dessert because Macademia is my favorite nut but for some reason I never thought to put it in a brownie, so when I saw the Macademia Brownie I knew I had to have it. Brownie itself was fire, it had the taste and texture of a dense brownie but it was not dense itself if that makes sense. Also it came with coconut ice cream but I saw Thai Tea ice cream on the menu and asked for that instead and they provided! DEEEEELISHHHHH that ice cream was perfection. So concentrated and creamy and the perfect thai tea flavor YUM.

The vibe inside was curated so well and the playlist was actually really good!

I think we ordered wrong because I thought the food was just okay. The spam misubi and the haupia dessert was our favorites though! Simple and delicious. The loco moco felt different and not in the best way. Katsu and cabbage were just okay. Randomly the cucumbers with the katsu though were phenomenal. The staff was amazing and drinks were fantastic. The vibe was also great. Maybe would order some different plates next time.

Everything at Noreetuh was delicious and super flavorful! The octopus was tender with the perfect amount of spice and char. The poke was fresh, bright, and packed with flavor. The pork was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside—absolutely delicious. The salmon main had the best miso glaze with just the right sweetness. The crab rice had lovely popping texture and just enough salt. The loco moco was tender and juicy, and the mac salad was delicious too. The desserts were killer: the pineapple upside-down cake was warm and sweet, perfectly paired with ice cream, and the same went for the banana pudding. The drinks were a wonderful balance of sweet and alcohol.Outstanding service made sure allergies were taken serious and very informative. Would recommend 10 out of 10.

Amazing! Huge recommend! I got the kalua pork off the brunch menu and it was perfect! Tender, rich, and smoky (such a strong appetizing aroma!) shredded pork on a bed of rice, accompanied by bright, tangy macaroni salad and premium jidori egg with a creamy yolk. Crunchy cabbage comes to the rescue once you get tired of the soft creamy textures. The salt and acidity felt just right. I normally dislike macaroni salad but I could’ve eaten a tiny bowl of this. The whole time my mind was just bombarded with the word “delicious”. I would not change a thing.

Noreetuh has an exciting wine program, clearly curated by someone who loves wine. Drop by here to discover new, interesting wines by the glass like a crisp white Nebbiolo. Much of noreetuh’s menu can be had as bar snacks to pair with the wines.

Noreetuh was a wonderful dining experience with a creative and modern take on Hawaiian cuisine. The menu was thoughtful and unique, blending bold flavors with refined presentation, and every dish felt both comforting and inventive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the wine list was excellent—especially the Riesling selections, which paired beautifully with the food.

I’m a chef in NYC and this is one of my favorite restaurants. Warm charm with incredible food, chef Chung Chow is a legend and cooks with precision and passion. Phenomenal wines by Jin.

Perfect for a last minute, intimate and casual dinner option in east village. We were able to sit at the bar around 5:30 on a weeknight.

Food is too notch (Hawaiian is so satisfying), the portions are appropriate for the pricing, and the service is stellar. Sitting at the bar gives you a sense of their pacing, it’s a well oiled machine back there.

Thoughtful and robust wine and cocktails, as well. Must add to your list.

We went for 2025 Restaurant Week: three course prix-fixe $45.
We had grilled bok choy, and berkshire pork cutlet for appetizer, teriyaki chicken bowl, and mochiko chicken loco moco for mains, and we shared the pineapple upside down cake (for two) and bruléed hawaiian pineapple for dessert. Everything was outstanding, and the portions were generous, a pleasant surprise in a prix-fixe environment.
The only reservations were 5:00 (opening) and late evening; we went for opening, and it was a great choice because they filled up quickly, so we were able to choose our table.
The ambiance is casual elegance; come as you are. The staff are friendly and professional. Recommended.
