First time trying Burger Boy, and I went through the drive-thru to grab the Working Man Combo with double meat. The experience was smooth, quick, and very convenient. Even though the drive-thru had a few cars ahead of me, the line moved at a good pace and my order was ready without a long wait.
The burger itself was excellent. The double meat patty was hearty and flavorful, cooked just right, and had that classic burger joint taste that feels fresh and satisfying. It was filling without being overly greasy, and the bun held together well. The large fries were served hot, crispy, and golden, exactly how fries should be. I also went with a sweet tea, and it was perfect—refreshing, smooth, and not overly sweet, but still with that classic Southern flavor.
The staff at the drive-thru window was polite, friendly, and got my order right the first time. Everything was packed neatly, and the food stayed warm until I got home. For a first visit, I’d say Burger Boy really impressed me with both the quality of the food and the service.
I’ll definitely be back to try more menu items, but the Working Man Combo is a winner. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid burger and quick, friendly service.

This was my first time trying Burger Boy! Visiting SA from Orlando, FL, I must say this is one of the best fast food restaurants. From the cleanliness, prompt service, and quality of the food, Burger Boy you left a mark on me. I got the working man combo added grilled jalapeño with loaded fries, the burger was delicious and fresh off the grill, the fries were crispy and cooked perfectly! There was a customer waiting for a shake before me, I went to the restroom and came back, only to find a strawberry shake waiting for my return. I guess he heard it was my first time and wanted to give me the shake. I really thought that was kind, but he was gone before I could even thank him. He should know how much i appreciated the random act of kindness. I will forever hold that as a memory in my heart for my first time visiting San Antonio and Burger boy!!! Unsure of what the fascination is about this place but I decided to give it a second go around. Again the burger was so so and my fries were cold. The so called fresh squeezed lemonade was watered and undrinkable so I ended up tossing that. That’s a hard no for me.

My family and I love Burger Boy! My husband and oldest love the cheese burgers. They are always fresh and a great size too. The little kids and I love the grilled cheese. The fish sandwich is tasty also! Their shakes are the BEST, and they use a homemade powder, instead of milk! The customer service at the Potranco location is always pleasant. Daejune was polite and friendly. We will be returning.

Went through the drive thru and was greeted by June who was very friendly and polite. He showed me patience while I struggled to get my payment method which was very much appreciated. I only ordered a shake and some fries and my food was fresh and delicious.
