Been coming here for years and we came back tonight and likely won’t be back. Everything is completely different and worse. They clearly spent some money and got new decor and plates and stuff but definitely started using lower quality ingredients.
The owner who usually is always there is gone and a young woman is running it now. I asked her if the business was sold or if they changed the menu and she claimed they haven’t changed the menu in 8 years. I really hope they change the food back to how it was before because it was great and now it’s not even good!

My wife and I dined at Chiba Japanese Restaurant and ordered the Crab Rangoon, Godzilla roll, Super Godzilla roll, Philadelphia roll, and Spicy Tuna roll.
That said, the sushi was nothing too impressive — it was decent, but lacked that fresh, standout flavor you’d expect from a great sushi spot. The Crab Rangoon was okay, but nothing memorable. One thing that really took away from the experience was that the glasses of water were not clean, which was disappointing and unsanitary.
Overall, it’s an average place that might satisfy a casual craving, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both quality and attention to cleanliness.

A decent place for food but service is very abrupt. I asked to be seated at the sushi bar and was immediately told “no” and showed to the booths. I asked why I couldn’t sit at the sushi bar (there was nobody sitting in any seats) and was told it wasn’t clean (it was very clean… that’s a good thing, right?)
I had the menu sort of tossed to me on the table…. was given exactly 1 minute when the server came over and asked to take my dinner order.
The shrimp shumai was still frozen in the center of one of the pieces, but the rest were slightly warm and tasted ok.
The nigiri was fresh and was in large pieces. The Crazy Roll was also a nice sized portion. Server stood and waited for me to pay at the table while I got my wallet out at the end lol.
I would consider coming back and give them a 2nd chance if the service wasn’t so intense.

My favorite place – been coming here for at least a decade, since they were at their old location. Their hibachi meals are so good, and the portions are great. Love the noodles and veggies that it comes with. The caterpillar roll is so good for any vegetarians who love sushi! Also recommend the pink orchid roll. Every time we come in to eat, the service is very fast. Otherwise we usually get takeout!

Amazing Staff, the best people to surround yourself with & superful helpful! Great food, amazing sushi, and the sashimi is absolutely fabulous. The hibachi isn’t too salty, and has an amazing flavor that was nostalgic. The pricing is also super affordable for the high quality fish you get, and the salad and miso soup that comes with the Lunch set are above average when it comes to lunch set sides. Would recommend, and my family and friends look forward to coming back again!

Have been coming here for a while. At least 1x – 2x/ week Last night was the worst experience. Usually the owner is here and he always runs the place smoothly. But will never be back after last night.
The girl was extremely rude and had no idea what she was doing. I witnessed calls coming in and she would press the decline button. This was at least 10+ calls. The people waiting to pickup would ask her wuestions she would walk past them and not even acknowledge them.
I saw multiple tables get up and leave due to no service or her being rude. And no staff going to greet or take orders from the table for over 30+ minutes. I had to wait for over 45 minutes for my order that was promised to be ready in 15 minutes.
That was the last time I will go to this place. Horrible horrible experience.

Good Sushi Place- got the Godzilla and Salmon Roll for ~$19.70. The Godzilla roll was okay. Looking to try new flavors next time. Wish that they would have more pictures for each sushi on the menu
