The tacos here fall firmly into the “fine” category. They aren’t trying to be authentic street tacos, but they don’t quite nail the fusion angle either.
I ordered veggies tacos, it was average,
Standard size, though for the price, I expected slightly more filling and they didnt have any mild or less spicy salsa.
So for me the tacos were dry and lacking flavor. I wish they had vegan options.
The guacamole wasnt fresh either.
Didn’t enjoy as much!
The kids quesadillas looked good!
But again not many options for vegans.

We stopped here on a rainy Sat night on our anniversary trip to Tybee Island. Don’t let the negative reviews keep you from trying this place. If you like tacos, this is a must. My favorite taco was the Baha Fish taco and my husband’s was the Carne Asada. The peach margaritas were good and so was the chip sampler. Kinda pricey but we will definitely return on our next trip.

We stopped in for lunch on Mother’s Day, we were in town from Florida. Absolutely loved the surfer vibe and laid back atmosphere. The chips, salsa, and queso were literally some of the best I’ve ever had.

It’s the kind of dish you’ll be dreaming about long after you’ve left Tybee. I already want another one! The carne asada was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection! Taco Tuesday!! All day on Tuesday discounts on Tacos and Drinks. The street tacos are generously filled. We tried the chicken, pork, and brisket tacos. Fresh and delicious. The lime margarita on the rocks was served with a salty & spicy rim. Strong . No fake mixers with high- fructose corn syrup! Tequila, lime and agave. Service was speedy, staff efficient and friendly. Two margaritas each and we felt happy. Two tacos each and left with full tummies. Check it out. We are definitely going back.

Stopped in for tacos after a day of exploring in Tybee. Good and hungry and the street tacos didn’t disappoint. I’m from Texas and we have many good Street taco places to choose from. Expectations were not too high and they exceeded my expectations. The steak and brisket tacos were delicious!

Cool spot! The food was very good. Our dinner consisted of beef empanadas and tacos. Delicious food and the margaritas were spectacular too! Highly recommended, especially top off with the churro for desert and you won’t be disappointed!

DELICIOUS! Stopped for a quick snack after the beach, so happy we stopped at Chamacos! The tacos were great. We tried the shrimp, chicken, and steak tacos. The employees were super welcoming. Wish we were staying closer, definitely would have made a second stop at this place!

Stopped by Chamacos for dinner after the Tybee Island Holiday Market event and boy, it did not disappoint! The food, drinks, and service were amazing, and I had so much fun! We had the Chips Sampler, Mexicali Wings, Fried Oyster Taco along with a Bloody Maria. And let me tell you, if you like Bloody Marys you have GOT to try the Bloody Maria. It’s made with tequila instead of vodka and so delicious!
