Incredible! The bread is super soft and fresh! You can tell the deli meat is all freshly sliced. Everything that’s you’d want from a sub shop. Friendly service as well. Skip the corporate fast food shops and check this place out. Nice and clean and cozy inside!

Tucked into a small strip mall storefront by Paramount Blvd & Carson, OJ’s Subs has a wide ranging menu featuring hot & cold options, specializing in Italian cuts. There are multiple options for bread and squaw was included on the list! The sit down dining area was extremely clean and there was a TV.
My sub was prepared and wrapped nicely, service was quick and friendly. The texture of my French roll wasn’t my favorite, it was quite doughy and I thought the sub I had could have used oil & vinegar or just something a bit more special than the standard preparation.

Not amazing, but not bad. We were satisfied and I really liked the portion in the tuna salad. The only issue my fiancé had was the bread was a bit soggy when we got home. Other than that, we’d go back if were in the area.

I tried this place for the first time today 6/30/25 I ordered the Ojs sub everything seemed like it was good we left I opened my sub and it was Long piece of hair we immediately bust a U turn I told the lady that I wanted my money back she Apologize . I told her when she’s working with food she should wear a hair net … So as I began to walk out the door another customer was coming in. Then everything went left with her she said oh this is not my hair or neither my daughter’s hair… Not only did she lose me as a customer but the other customer walked right out the door with me.. I don’t know the lady but I would like to Thank her… It’s one thing to mess up a order but to have hair in your food..THAT’S A BIG NO NO…

Great little sandwich shop. Clean and well maintained. The sandwiches are a good size and well worth the pricing. Fresh produce and quality. Try ‘The Works’ if you love meat and have an appetite. Call ahead to skip the wait, parking can be tough when they get busy. Overall, I would highly recommend trying it at least once.
