Great resort bar with amazing service.
We went in tonight for desert and a cocktail. It was slow and only the bar area was open, January… but we had great service from Angel, tasty cocktails, and a desert big enough for an army!

Husband has the prime rib and it was cooked exactly as he requested. I had the salmon dish and it was excellent. The risotto was cooked perfectly. Definitely have the blood orange mule, delicious! Great service and nice atmosphere. Not too loud, can hear yourself talk. Highly recommend.

We always enjoy visiting Buzzard Bar when we are in the area, but especially enjoy going on Tuesday night when Justin is playing. He is so talented and personable and engages so well with the audience. We also love when Angel is our server. She is so kind and efficient and makes sure everything is perfect. We have always had a great experience at Buzzard Bar and wanted to give a shoutout to these two awesome folks.

Visited during off season. You need to get there early so that you can eat during the music show. Clay Self started at 8:30. Great music- think sing along to best country and classic rock. Fantastic evening. Super food. Had the salmon.

We are blown away by the experience. All the drinks have been great. The food is amazing. The nachos didn’t even need cheese, but this grannies chicken looks life-saving.

Food is delicious! We ate at least 3-4 times during our stay at Cedar lodge and enjoyed it every time. At nights they have live performance so it does get a bit loud if you have little ones. Staff is phenomenal… would highly recommend.
They do have gluten free buns if necessary.

We were able to get open seating in the lower section of the restaurant. Lucky enough to snag a table before there was a crowd in the upstairs waiting area. Around 6pm on Friday.
Tried the Big Cedar great escape amber ale which was very pleasant and not bitter.
Got the Atlantic salmon over risotto. Great light lemon flavor and a crisp underside of the salmon. Risotto was nice and creamy.
Buzzard bar burger comes with pimento cheese on top which is a unique change for most burgers. Sweet potato waffle fries were good but could use a little more salt in my opinion.
By the time we left there was also much more crowding around the lower bar area as people were waiting on seats to open up. Around 7:30pm.

The staff truly made our 58th anniversary a lovely and memorable experience. We have dined at Devil’s Pool on several anniversaries over the years and always return for the wonderful food, beautiful setting and gracious service. This year felt even more special, with a signed anniversary card waiting at our table, a delicious dessert, and friendly, efficient, and welcoming staff. The rainbow trout was excellent! Your restaurant should be at the top of the list for special occasions or just for a great casual meal anytime.

Stopped in after a long day of travel and enjoyed the live country music, the atmosphere and some very tasty loaded potato soup and an amazing Angus burger with sweet potato fries.
