Fast and friendly service, delicious eats! We ordered the chorizo con huevos and the machacado – both came with freshly made corn tortillas!

Finally got a chance to try out Mariana’s Kitchen and it was definitely a great visit! Their botana appetizer was cheesy and so delicious. Also got to try their cheese enchiladas and their al pastor platter – both really great options! The salsa from their chips and salsa was also spicy and very tasty. The server was also so wonderful. She was so sweet and so patient! Would love to come again and try their other entrees!

I feel like I just found a hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. Mariana’s Kitchen hosts a tall and spacious room with a welcoming atmosphere, good music and more booths than tables, which I find comforting. The Mexican omelet is fantastic and came with rice and beans and complimentary salsa and fresh tortillas. The flan is divine.

Would give negative stars to this restaurant if possible. The waitress lie about several things and provided horrible service. Here a list of what took place:
-3% surcharge if you use a debit or credit card
– The waitress said that the menu says “that groups of 5 or more they charge 20% gratuity.” Which it does not say based off the pictures presented below.
-She claimed we were there before when we came from out of town for a work trip, and began to have an attitude.
-Says she would not serve us alcohol (looks like the liquor license was taken away).
-Argues that we all have to pay on one bill, and claims that it’s on the menu. The picture below shows it doesn’t.
We wanted to support and make the most out of this business trip. Sucks that this was the experience we had for dinner. Please do better

This place used to be good and inexpensive. Recently, the food is less quality and has gotten super expensive!! $10 for the small amount of ( terrible ) queso!? Yall really think too much of your food. $5 for a coke?? Come on now.

I went in for dinner at 5:30 and the place was empty except for 3 workers. There were 3 signs inducating they were open. The sign inside the door said to seat yourself so I sat down and proceeded to wait for over 10 minutes and no one came to the table. The workers just proceeded to clean the sitting area and do something in the back, but not one acknowledged that I was there at all. Ended up leaving without being served or acknowledged at all.

I came here because it was near my apartment. The food was great! I thought the queso dip was especially tasty, but didn’t like the salsa because it was a bit too runny for my liking. I also got the chicken gordita meal & I was surprised by how good the chicken flavor was! I will be back in the future & can recommend to others!

Nice little restaurant in South Austin for traditional Mexican food. Nothing complex, or over bearing, just a simple quick delicious meal every time.
