We came here for brunch. Upon entering a Nice atmosphere, clean inside. When walking to the front, young employees working, no greeting or smile on Cashier face. Ordered the chicken and the waffle, side of bacon, child waffle plate. Water tastes horrible, need for filtered water. Food came out with good timing. Waffle came out hot, chicken barely warm. Taste/flavor of the chicken is great. Syrup is cupped, and cool from refrigerator, I prefer warm syrup. Overall We enjoyed the food. Bathroom was filthy. You can tell a bathroom check up is not monitored, paper towel machine not working. All in all I think this place can be really nice if these few kinks are implemented. I will try once more hoping for a better experience. This restaurant has the potential with better management.

My husband and I came here for breakfast yesterday, and everything was fantastic. I ordered the Retro Plate and he had the grits—both were delicious and a great value. The smashbrowns were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the biscuits were soft and flaky. My husband really enjoyed his grits, saying they were flavorful and creamy. We also tried the iced toffee coffee, which was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

The food portions and service where all on point. The coffee was exactly what coffee should be in terms of taste and temp and the hot honey vanilla chai was one of the best chai I’ve experienced in my short 30 something years of wondering this earth. Will be back in future.

This is the 2nd time we’ve ordered here. We order through a delivery service so I can’t tell anything about the location. We ordered 1 biscuits and mushroom gravy, an order of bacon and crispy potatoes the 2nd order was 2 sausage egg biscuits with scrambled eggs with cheese and an order of crispy potatoes and 2 unsweet teas. The mushroom gravy tasted like they opened a can of cream of mushroom soup and added some flour to thicken but they didn’t get the flour clumps out and it was sweet. The potatoes were not crispy. If we ordered again I will not order the biscuits and gravy, I really didn’t like the gravy at all. I do find they charge too much for the bacon at $5.55 for 4 slices. However the biscuits are fluffy and delicious. The 1st time we ordered we got 2 bacon scrambled eggs with cheese, 2 sausage scrambled eggs with cheese 2 crispy potatoes (and they were crispy) and 2 unsweet teas. We both enjoyed it.

i love it here!! my sister and i came to the location off bulverde on a slow monday afternoon, and were taken care of by franklin and leila. she was so patient with us on the register, as it took us a while to get our order together. once we were seated and situated, the food came out promptly and was so good!! literally blown away. my sister really enjoyed the squawking goat, and i was shocked by the deliciousness of the eggstreme biscuits & gravy. we’ll definitely be back!

I’m a sucker for biscuits and gravy. These large flaky biscuits smothered in spicy sausage gravy are my new favorite in town. Soo much flavor yet not too spicy. I will definitely be back for more. The bacon is crispy with a smoky flavor. The smashed browns were hand pressed with love, seasoned and fried to perfection. Finally seriously skip the soda and go for the coffee bar. It’s not your average tasting coffee. Try the maple tap medium roast, the smoky dark bark, or the light amber. Each with a unique flavor all pairing perfectly with breakfast.

Finally had a chance to check this place out today and I was pleasantly surprised. When I first walked I was greeted with the aroma of fresh biscuits intertwining with other delicious smells such as bacon, etc. Hands down the food here is fantastic. Everything is made from scratch and very fresh (even the orange juice). I tried multiple menu items and each of the dishes were very good. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food, however that is not saying that the pricing is cheap. Most of the menu items were close to 10 dollars and up. To give an example I got the Squawking Goat and it was 10.25 and I also got The Cowboy which was 12.25. Although the food is exceptional there are a few significant observations that I made regarding other aspects of the restaurant that wasn’t so great. One of these is that there did not seem to be any staff really the cleaning tables between customers leaving. I noticed that most of the cleaning was left up to the customers which seemed to work until the table really needed to be wiped down due to food and etc left behind. Another observation that I made was that the dining chairs were terribly uncomfortable. The chairs have no type of cushion and are totally devoid of comfort. The last thing I noticed is that the wait time for our food was very long however this was understandable considering that everything was being made fresh and from scratch. Overall though this is a great place to go occasionally for a breakfast that is a cut about the rest. I almost forgot if you are a person who loves grits and haven’t been able to find good ones here in town try the ones here they may surprise you.

This place is an amazing hidden gem. It gave the right amount of relaxed visit with high quality food and top notch service. Management and the team are doing great things in this establishment and it truly shows. I ordered the Chix and waffles and my husband got the Retro plate. Both were outstanding and not to be upstaged with the excellent customer service! We made great selections largely recommended by the lovely young lady taking orders. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. Try it for yourself. You can’t go wrong!

After completing a great workout a few minutes before , I stopped over to get a sub at Jersey Mike’s. I saw this place next door and I have never seen it before so I decided to give it a try. I stopped in just to sample the biscuits because I’m a sucker for a good biscuit! When I asked for a biscuit they didn’t even charge me for it! What great customer service! They tasted fresh and delicious! I’ll definitely be stopping back in when I’m craving biscuits! highly recommended!
