I came here for lunch with my mom,they were a little busy but the waitress got to us as soon as she could,the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap,it was really good! The only suggestion I have for that is they could use grilled chicken strips instead of squares lol. The lemonade was real lemonade,not that fake stuff. Service and atmosphere was great! Can’t wait to go back and try more food there!

I live in naugatuck and I drive by this place everyday and finally decided to go ahead and give this place a try. There’s a lot of positive things to say and I only have one word for it and it’s totally DELICIOUS. And yes the flower in the pic is edible and very good. I give this place a 10 out of 10. Definitely going back to try different food. Totally recommend this place you won’t regret it.

Food was great and really good sized portions. Food was a little slow in getting out, but then again it was 10pm. And the food quality made up for it… Hands down. We had ribs, spaghetti and meatballs, sweet potato fries, and meatball parm sandwich. Would definitely go back again. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

From out of state. First time I tried this place. Came during lunchtime. I thought only the lunch portion was applicable but was pleasantly surprised that whole menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was available to choose from. I think the menu is very diverse and you can find something for almost any mood your in. When food arrived, the portion was more than I thought. Food was delicious. They also have dessert which looked good but I was full already. I thought it was a great value for what I paid. I am saving this to my favorites to revisit in the future.

This restaurant has a very home feel to it. They were quick to accommodate a large party of 10 of us. The waitress did a good job ensure that our drinks stayed full and the kids were happy. It is rare to see such high standards of service in such a small business setting. I would recommend this resturant. Not only was the service good the food was also good. Eggs were cooked to perfection. And the pancakes are beyond prefect!!! My daughter loved the BLT sandwich. One thing that was great was everyone was served the food at the same time so no one was just sitting there awkwardly watching someone else eat. Weather it is just you on a date or you with a crowd I recommend you come here….

I had an amazing experience at Grandpa’s Restaurant at Naugatuck! The food was absolutely delicious—especially the NY Strip, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Everything from start to finish was top-notch. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food and excellent service. Can’t wait to come back!

I had high hopes for this place walking in. The reviews are pretty good online and the interior has an old school diner vibe, which I love. The menu is huge as a traditional diner should have, but very few vegetarian options. The service was very slow. Our server was friendly, but we did not get her name. We each ordered soup and entrees.

Our soups were very delayed, and we were informed that it was due to it being made on the fly as they had sold out. I’m ok to wait, but I knew this would be tough for the French Onion as there is a lot of flavor development with time. The French onion soup was beautiful, but as expected it lacked depth. The chowder, however, was delicious. We had barely started to get to the soup when the entrees were up, so we had to choose what to eat while it was still hot.

The French dip did not have much meat on it and it lacked flavor. The chicken wrap was packed full and looked amazing, but once again lacked flavor. I did not like the coleslaw at all, which was disappointing because I love a good slaw. The fries were excellent, though.

Everything we were served looked outstanding, but the flavor just wasn’t there. While it’s important to make beautiful food it’s equally important to make sure there is flavor development in each dish. We hope to see a change in future visits. A solid 7/10.

We decided to go to Grandpas to try the dinner. I already tried it for breakfast and thought it was great. I ordered the turkey dinner and my husband had the pot roast. Both were awesome! Homemade gravy on each. The veggies were over done. But the main dish was great. Fresh from scratch stuffing.
The atmosphere was relaxing. Our waitress was Jordan. She did a great job tending to our needs in a timely manner. I’ll go back again.
