Food is good and took some time to be made therefore we knew it was fresh and made per order. i love the seating area outside, we came late and so close to closing hours yet they have welcomed us and let us stay after hours to sit and eat outside.
God bless this family and their business.
Unfortunately, after eating the leftovers the next day, both of us became very sick. That was enough for us. We won’t be returning.
And to be clear, this is not a review from a competitor or anyone with an agenda — just longtime locals sharing an honest experience.
We have driven by this place a few times and my teenage son wanted to check it out. I told him to check the reviews first…there were many great ones, also there were some concerning ones…but nonetheless, I understand people complain, I prefer to decide for myself.
First important tip, go online and order ahead for pick up. We weren’t aware it was a walk up window or that it would take so long. I’ve been to sit down restaurants where they make your food to order as well (during busy times), not 450 on a Sunday with no cars in the lot and only 2 drove through in the 35 mins we waited. I ask if that was normal and the very polite girl said we cook everything to order so yes…ok, maybe let people know ahead of time…we were obviously newbies by our blank stares at the huge wall menu.
Credit: The cheese steak was awesome and a great size for the price, that I would definitely recommend.
My son is a chicken tender & fries fiend…he politely ate some…but I think out of guilt because it was his idea to try the place. The very large portion they give is sitting at the bottom of my garbage can. Please less batter. You could definitely taste the aged fry grease & dry chicken.
The fries were definitely a large portion…soggy probably soaking in the steam and tender heat piled on top…but looked so promising. Next time maybe keep them separate in their own boxes.
The onion rings… the onion slivers were thin and almost non existent. There was so much batter and grease my stomach is actually sick as I type this. WAY TOO MUCH BATTER.
I don’t like leaving completely negative reviews so I went mid…but I also believe people should know what to steer clear of and save their $40! The cheese steak was great but stay away from anything fried…unless you like old grease and tons of batter.
For me pizza reviews give me a follow! Zach_Reviews_Pizza
Awesome little hidden gem, great food and service. Ordered pick up a little late one night at 10:38pm and it was ready and they were happy to service even right at close, got there for 11pm. Highly recommend if you need a quick bite to eat. The guy working was super friendly and Truely cares about his customers. I will go back for sure. Thank you for the great food, was filling, good portions and hit the spot! Thanks again!
Cheeseburger with fries- cheeseburger was by far the best burger I’ve ever ordered from a pizza joint from here and NJ. The fries needed frying more but the burger made up for it. And the roll was soft and yummy
Cheeseburger sub -my daughter said two thumbs up and a happy tummy lol
Beef and cheese- my husband is a Philadelphia cheesesteak guy and he said this was a helluva sandwich. A++.
